I like him very much. He’s inspirational and (I think) honest.
But he will split votes even further. Do we need another party? However is more choice a good thing? Many voters are sick of what they are calling ‘the Uni-party’. What do you think?

Integrity?😁 You can just imagine down the line, when MP’s from it are hauled up before the beak for various transgressions what the papers will make of that name.

Rather like the other two parties then.

Don’t you mean rather like all the other parties then? They have all had their fair share of transgressions.

When I read Habib's X page it all seems to be cookie cutter Trumpian all said in the same angry, childish language Trump uses.

Scrap DEI, mass deportations, press = liars, justice system = corrupt and silly, the left = the most wicked, evil, worst leader/government ever in the history of the world let's start a petition to get them out and replace them with me as I'm the one person who can see through all this and save the world with my.....well.....my general intention to put everything 'right'.

Who is he and he can form all the parties in the world, and it is perfectly pointless unless he tells us first waht the new group's policies will be.

I think I will form a party called 'Truth and Lies'. I won't bother with policies. They seem unnecessary these days.

Try telling labour that! They have chopped & changed their minds on just about everything in their manifesto.

FriedGreenTomatoes2 Thu 17-Apr-25 09:14:31

I am argymargy but Starmer isn’t and I have to accept that.

I’m a pragmatist Whitewave so I’ve (re)hitched my wagon to Labour with Starmer. That does not preclude me from admiring Ben Habib and his aspirations. (Diverging from the EU being one). But I’m accepting of the fact that Starmer wants closer ties and alignments with Brussels. That goes against the (my) grain but one has to take what’s on offer in the round.

But..but..but I thought you were all aboard the Trump Train??!! Sorry I need to lie down.

FriedGreenTomatoes2 Thu 17-Apr-25 09:02:29

Might that be because it’s not officially launched yet? 🤔
Time will tell.

The 'manifesto' on their website is a stream of hot air. General wishes with no substance, plan or detail.

Who, other than your preferred source of disinformation, refers to anything as the 'uniparty'?

In researching this term, I found the following articles:

The far right claims there's a 'uniparty' in Washington. Reality suggests otherwise from ABC News.
The ‘Uniparty’ Delusion Shared by MTG and RFK Jr. from New York Magazine.
How likely is the conspiracy theory of the 'uniparty'? from the subreddit "AskTrumpSupporters."

It seems you may be receiving information from far-right and hard-right sources, which, no doubt, GN allows. However, I believe it would be beneficial if you disclosed the origins of the information when sharing your many 'borrowed' OPs.

Farge has the gift of the gab and populist policies but trying to imagine him and current associates (who seem inclined to split off) capable of running the show?

Also he supports Trump and policies. No way.

I prefer Nigel. Wouldn’t trust either of them, really but Nigel is a very good speaker. Neither of their parties would exist if the current ones weren’t so bad.

Quite true

I think if it would split the Reform vote that would be a good thing. Maybe then Starmers Labour Party could stop being so afraid of losing votes to Reform

I don’t think so reform out in front I believe

Does anybody know who ran the Integrity Party before, and if they are part of the future plans?

I think it is a new & upcoming party, already had donations & new members joining. Will take a while for it to take off I imagine.

Mt61 Wed 16-Apr-25 23:37:14

I like Ben Habib, I also Iike Rupert Lowe so hopefully he will join.. buts what betting that reform will bad mouth Ben!
Actually I think reform will get in next time round, as I have said before, labour friends of mine are voting reform next time round as they can’t stand this labour government. Have to watch & see

Life is full of surprises 🙂

(I still don't get it)

I looked up this Party's "Manifesto". talk about a repetitive word salad

www.integrityparty.co.uk/manifesto

I think he's maybe inherited that, as the website is 2024 and he's just taken it over. He's been caught on the hop it seems as he wasn't going to announce it for a couple of months. He's not sure he'll keep the name. He is getting members and donations though.

FriedGreenTomatoes2 Wed 16-Apr-25 21:20:10

Well we are now all aware it’s up and coming! I’d never heard of the proposal until today. Had you?
