Rupert Lowe rises again

Good.
I think there are probably enough Independent MPs, with far more experience and integrity than Reform, that is, N.Farage, to start an 'Independence 'Party based on the back benches. Some of the Red Wall and Blue Labour MPs might join.

Reframed Reform Party doesn't exactly trip off the tongue.

There is an Independent Alliance already, with five of the left leaning MPs, including Jeremy Corbyn. I can’t see them sharing any beliefs with Rupert Lowe.
Of the ten other current Independents, there are some who are suspended by their own parties, who I’m guessing, if for shameful reasons, Lowe would not want to be associated with, but I guess potentially some of the rest could join a new party, as could some existing Reform MPs? I wonder about Jacob Rees Mogg, whose previous seat is up for grabs again. I’d be very surprised if he stood for Reform, but he might for a new right wing party.

I'd be utterly disgusted if my 'red wall' Labour MP had anything to do with Rupert, formerly reform, Lowe.

They have so much support and hope from people who care about this country, it would be such a shame if it all fell apart. They need to sort out their differences and concentrate on the things people voted for.

He said

They did say some dreadful underhand things about him to get him charged and attempts to discredit him. Like saying he had dementia.

I despise everything Mr Lowe says and does, but he has been treated shamefully by Reform.
People cross Mr Farage at their peril.

I do not condone what Farage and his bag-carrying sycophant Yusuf did but Lowe remains someone I dislike intensely.

His racist ranting on social media, all paid for handsomely by Musk, is disgusting but he was part of the inner circle so he does at least know what goes on. His blistering attack on the Reform Party and its MPs now is possibly the only time I have ever agreed with him or will agree with him.

If Farage were ever to control the vast power of the British state, I believe he would not hesitate to do to his adversaries what they have tried to do to me. With real power, I fear he would wield that immense responsibility to crush dissent – as he has done time and again over the years.

In a direct appeal to Reform voters, Lowe said: For the good of our country, Nigel Farage must never be prime minister. To the millions of decent Reform supporters – you must do what you believe is right. I, personally, could not remain in an organisation led by such men. They do not deserve your support, your time, your energy, your money or your vote.

He said the party was “not fit to lead” and his former colleagues were “not fit to be MPs”.

That said, before this all blew up, he was happy to work with the men he now says are not fit to be MPs. He had them sponsor a bill he placed before Parliament just before the row.

He’s a hypocrite and plays the game just as they do. He’s just as as dangerous as Farage and more openly racist. The one saving grace is that he is already an old man. By the next GE he’ll be pushing 72 and hopefully too old for the fight.

I’d be more disgusted if any one had much to do with Labour, Conservative or Reform … the reset in British politics isn’t going to plan imo. Rupert Lowe and Ben Habib might be a better option but early days and general election years away, unfortunately.

I bet Lowe won't pick up many votes in Southampton. (Google Southampton FC, if you don't know the history.)
