He had to quickly recover as the plane door was opened. Whatever the reason it was unpleasant to see.

No I think BM should have engaged her brain cells, before deciding to push her husband’s head, “nearly clean” off his shoulders, for the whole world to see. What was she even thinking?
So no, I don’t feel one bit sorry for her, & probably it won’t be the first time she has done this.
It was because of this un-lady like incident, that stuff appears on YouTube about her life.
She’s the First Lady of France, & should act like it.

Excuse me, but I was not 'spreading misinformation'! I merely pointed out that this rumour had been doing the rounds on social media for some time. I made no claims about it whatsoever. So maybe it is you who should engage your brain cells before spreading misinformation.

They do come across as an unlikely pair, but attraction can't be defined by bystanders it's such a nebulous thing. This thread however has been somewhat of a revelation, I had some vague notion that she was his teacher at some point, I didn't know he was 15 heavens above what sort of age is that to make such a far reaching decision as to choosing a life partner, a class mate maybe, but a 39 year old married teacher, no the optics aren't good, grooming springs to mind, she was the adult, he wad the kid most definitely. If the sexes were reversed on that, I'm not sure a prospective male leader who had got together with his wife when she was 15 and he was 39 in some position of authority over her would be met with approval, given BJ has often been deemed unsuitable for his shenanigans.

Thank you Iam64. I have no idea why people think it is OK. A teacher at our local school was recently banned from teaching due to a relationship with a pupil older than this case.

There is absolutely no way there would be any exression of sympathy of her behaviours if she was a man.

The writer was sad that the slapper was under scrutiny, and empathising with her. Well if she hadn't slapped her husband she wouldn't be. There would have been absolute outrage on here if he'd slapped her, not empathy as the writer showed for this woman.

I fully admit to being guilty of laughing when I saw the video but really I shouldn't have laughed!

As a female saying this, if Mr Macaroni had hit Mrs Macaroni he'd have probably been arrested for some sort of wife beating/domestic abuse!

I think they should keep their domestics out of the public eye because in public it could damage their reputation, which is awkward at the best of times!

I warned my DH if he ever did that sort of thing to me, he would get one more chance and that would be it. A third time and we would separate.
I wouldnt put up with that.

Maybe it just raises the subject of female violence towards a male partner, admittedly far less common than the other way round, but men, because of shame possibly appear more reluctant to talk about it. We can't know what precipitated what took place, and and such can't know the full details, hence the speculation. All the same embarrassing for him.

It isn’t any of our business, just as Prince Harry and his wife, the Beckham family, Boris Johnson and other celebrities are none of our business, but they are all in the public eye and a bit of gossip is the lifeblood of many and GN is no different.
