and then way back other stories, probably videos, to Russia 1987- when Trump was groomed as a Russian spy. Plenty of evidence that that is true.

Trump versus Musk fallout
(123 Posts)Was watching the early earlier news and it seems they’ve had a major fallout..re ?Tesla and according to Musk he states Trump was involved with Epstein allegedly…this world gets crazier by the day…
you would think that Trump would be suing Musk for defamation of character...
No. That won't work as there is too much truth in the Epstein stories.
I think they are well documented over many years.
Im really surprised Tesla shares are amazingly resilient a year ago they were $180 even now $295 and bouncing back from the latest crisis.
With all the turmoil speculators are still willing to back the shares, where it’s all going to end up is anyone’s guess, but in a volatile market speculators make money.
I think Musk is going to be very busy rescuing Tesla from the dramatic drop in sales and share price that have resulted from his very public involvement in the Trump Presidency.
NASA is more dependent on Space X than Space X is on NASA and Musk can afford to bide his time until the end of Trump's term of office.
If he accepts Putin's invite- he could become even more dangerous.

Do you think Trump would want the richest man in the world to leave the USA though - even if on a personal level he does it will have a huge economic impact if Musk takes his business elsewhere?
I doubt very much that Musk keeps all his eggs in one basket, or all his wealth in USA.
I’m sure he doesn’t, but I was thinking in terms of the impact of his businesses on the US economy rather than his personal wealth. Here’s one example.

Look what Trump has authorised in Las Angelos. . Musk should be running scared as Trump could if it gets any more out of hand have Musk deemed of no legal status and get him incarcerated. Whatever Musk says of Trump he will wriggle out of.

Not sure what is in it for him though. He can’t be the president, so the power won’t be in his hands.
Won't it? DOGE put huge social and economic power right in the hands of Musk. Power with no responsibility. No accountability. I can see what was in that for Musk. To be an unelected puppet master in the shadows, pulling POTUS strings to shape and direct the US budget and economy.
It was a trial run with Trump that hasn't worked out. But Musk is used to the experimental trial and error process ; he's spent decades and millions reinventing cars, rockets, AI, social media.
If the prototype blows up , throw in more money and have another go.
I’ll be surprised if raising Trump/Epstein will damage Trump in any way. His disgusting comments didn’t harm him. A conviction didn’t stop him being elected.
How is he allowed to carry on given his personality and cognitive problems.? But he is. I wonder who benefits - could it be the wealthy string pullers
Money and power - it's a man thing.
1. They are as egotistical as each other. 2. It was bound to happen, surprised it took this long. 3 Of course Trump was involved with Epstein...you seen him in pics with him
Frankly, any fight that Trump has with anyone else in the USA is a GOOD THING in my book.
It must surely prevent him making some of his stupid and dangerous comments about the Ukraine-Russian war, or thinking up more potentially dangerous plans regarding the rest of the world.
I hope one of these two very unpleasant characters gets what he richly deserves, and I don't much care which of them it is.
I only wish they might fight like the Kilkenny cats - with the same result.
Remember?
"They fought and they fit, and they scratched and they bit,
Until except for their nails and the tips of their tails,
Instead of two cats - there weren't any!"
Anybody who is concerned about the future of the world I guess Nicolenet.
Who cares?

I think maybe Musk does know some of the skeletons in Trumps cupboard but I also think that Trump has the power to harm Musk financially so I guess there'll soon be some sort of kiss and make up and then they will keep their distance from each other.
Oh I think he knows plenty. And so does Putin- since 1987 the start of him being groomed to be President. Probably videos of the worst kind!
Musk is an illegal immigrant from SA. he had a student visa from Canada, stopped his studies to work illegally. I am quite sure Trump could reverse his US nationality on that basis.
Not sure what is in it for him though. He can’t be the president, so the power won’t be in his hands.

Reading that Musk wants to start a new Centre party.
Two questions,
Will the fact that he wasn’t born in the USA prevent him from doing this
Who would be likely to join?
Mind you I don’t think this will materialise - Musk will run out of enthusiasm I think.
"Not being born in USA " didn't prevent Musk buying the last election for Trump.
Now he knows that in America his money can fund another election campaign for any candidates or party he chooses to promote. And every power-mad crook born-in-America knows it too.

I wonder why the rest of the world is sucked up into this melodrama? Trump and Musk seem set on destroying each other? I think Trump will be more damaged in terms of reputation and Musk will suffer financially from the fight. Do we need involve ourselves in this battle?
We all have a right to pay close attention, because Trump's crazed tarriffs are affecting the economy of other countries who export to USA.
Companies outside USA face reduced exports, lower profits, workers laid off and unemployed, falling share prices.
Retired so don't care? Your pension provider is probably invested in shares...
Elon Musk sold all his homes/ properties in US a while back so there's nothing much to hold him in America if its economy fails . He can build factories and cars anywhere. His billions-to-invest will earn him a welcome anywhere in the world.
Trump not so much..

Trump looks as if he is pulling back, I would guess that the Epstein threat hit home, and it has a deal of truth in it, otherwise Trump would be hitting Musk with a ton of lawyer bricks.
I agree - you would think that Trump would be suing Musk for defamation of character wouldn't you?
It’s Musk who holds the cards I think, I bet he has evidence to bring Trump down. It wouldn’t surprise me if he strikes again in some way if his interests aren’t looked after by Trump.

Trump has now said his friendship with Musk is over.
