They’ll make friends again, as children do.

The way Trump conducts himself and talks any nonsense that comes into his head and disrespects people is a first. It is not to be admired in any way. How to rein in such an unpredictable person, his mini Trumps think like him. Musk what can you say about him a genius but batty. Wish the two could make up as this will get dangerous each outdoing the power they have over each other.

Women are far too well brought up to make a fuss in public.

It's men that have the public hissy fits.

Musks comments were emotional and he will regret them, women of course never make emotional outbursts.

Women tend not to behave like petulant children on the world stage David49, because generally speaking they have less of an issue controlling their egos. They have to work a lot harder to be on the stage in the first place so when they make it, it’s usually the cool heads.

CASDON agree with you..👏

Heads of state usually make considered comments whatever sex they are, Trump wakes up each morning and chooses which chaos he is going to release that day, or which U turn

Men…
Women just don’t behave like this.

Of course they do. But it isn't reported much because it is seen as something women do. Hmm

Trump has said he is far to busy to think about Elon. He has China Russia and Gaza to think about but he wishes Elon well.
He must be concerned about what Musk will reveal about him.

Underestimate Musk at your peril I think. He has enough information to make him very dangerous, and the power and means to disseminate what he knows.

This takes 15 minutes watching, but here is a Republican Lady, from "the real housewives of Pennsylvania" Taking the conflict apart and spelling out in detail the whole story of the split and how damaging it is to ordinary people as well as the big beautiful bill...a good watch.

The 'Republican Lady" spears to be Representative Stansbury, a democrat.

You're right, I was taken in by the "Rep" before her name, thinking it was "Republican", not "Representative"

I have read online some concern about following this couple's separation, which will get custody of JD Vance?

David49 Sat 07-Jun-25 07:16:00

What really enraged Musk is was Trump removing subsidies on EVs which obviously benefits him greatly, in addition the tariff war with China is affecting Teslas factory in China. Musk was doing much better with Biden in charge and now regrets backing Trump.

However when it comes to power Musk is small fry against POTUS, he has exceeded his importance by some way, government contracts could be taken away at the stroke of a pen by Trump.

Apparently Russia offered Musk political asylum or something? I haven't confirmed the story. Wish we could send him, but he knows to much now.

Someone is trying to investigate the claims that he was an illegal alien for a time and revoke his citizenship. Would love to see him sent back to South Africa.

Two big ego's were never going to last. Trump woukd never have become President without Musks backing. Let's hope they make up soon as the fall out will cost lots of people ,more than money.

I knew it wasn't in the US Whitewavemark, because there was talk about it being a Dixie Chick style controversy.

Good for him for speaking out!

Given that we have the Reform Party with a leader who admires Trump and all he stand for ideologically ripping the country and its proud "land of the free" apart, and Farage has the same tendency to split and fall out, we should keep a very watchful eye out indeed and point it all out at every opportunity!

Trump is mad at Bruce Springsteen because he said something bad about him at sole show.

Trump is mad at a lot of people for saying bad things about him. grin

That was here in Manchester.

And, as usual with Trump, we find ourselves back in the playground. It's like listening to two four year olds. "Yesterday we were Besties for ever - today I'll never speak to you again" It's just a lot more dangerous than four year olds.

Delila Fri 06-Jun-25 20:25:32

To the likes of Trump the world is just a plaything, and Musk’s playground is the world and beyond. So very dangerous - how did we let it happen?
