I think GB news is very good. It makes political subjects more interesting with their lively debates using panelists with differing views putting their points across. If anyone thinks GB news are biased they obviously don't listen to the BBC and Sky news. Anyone who wants a true perspective of the world should look at the news from very different sources including foreign news channels.

Absolutely 💯

They have some very good presenters and the range of guests they have on is awesome. They have well known people, lawyers, doctors, pop stars, self made millionaires, politicians of all parties, journalists, eco warriors etc.

Debates are really good as are some of the investigations they carry out.

I don't tell anyone I watch it (Like I never read Hello) but find it increasingly relevant in to-days world, although I only switch to it over breakfast when being bored bandy by Sport ad nauseam or Naga Munchety .
I think they have the pulse of the nation.

I consider it extremely biased and won't watch it. Mind you, most of the news is biased one way or another but GB takes it to a new level

Bias is everywhere in the media, but this channel doesn't even try to hide its bias. I do watch it ocassionally because I like to get a balance with other news, but find I can't watch it for long because of the ads and rather tacky production values, as well as the quality of the guests and presenters.

Agreed!

I suppose if you don't watch it, you are going by hearsay so are not really in a position to judge.

It's rather like saying you hate Marmite - "have you ever tried it?" "Well, no". 🤔

I don't watch it so cannot make a judgement.

TRIC is an industry award, voted on by your peers.

GB News must be doing something right to be so highly regarded by fellow journalists and television insiders.

TRIC was formed to promote good will amongst those engaged in the audio, visual, comms and allied industries. All winners of TRIC awards are voted by the public (according to the TRIC website).
Organisations and individuals who lobby for votes get more votes from their supporters. GB News ran a big campaign to get their viewers to vote for them. I don’t know if other organisations did the same.

They absolutely cover every topic, where other msm outlets won’t touch with a barge pole. Especially love Patrick, his work on the people landing on the beaches. He seems to done more coverage than any other journalist.

Totally agree 👍🏻

Other presenters are available 😁

I have no time for anything with Eamonn Holmes. I had the misfortune to meet him at an event some years ago and found him to be patronising, arrogant and downright rude.

I’m afraid I don’t watch it regularly and consider it more of a panel show than news, there are clearly some good journalists on there but they are biased and I’m afraid the Farage connection puts me off for many reasons.

Oreo Wed 25-Jun-25 09:46:49

GB News has got better and better after a wobbly start. They have every political view included on their debate panels and feature topical and entertaining and very lively chats.
So well done them😃

Well done GB news, Charlie Peters award was certainly well deserved.

No. I never watched it for more than a few minutes.

Thousands of people disagree with you!

I think it’s very well deserved, beating ITV and BBC news programmes.

Also Charlie Peters won the journalism award for his excellent work on the grooming gangs.

👏👏👏👏👏

Is it actually a news channel?

sundowngirl Wed 25-Jun-25 08:51:18

Well done GB News.

nanna8 Wed 25-Jun-25 00:09:07

That is one of the UK channels we can actually get here on YouTube. I think it is a bit biased from time to time but then most news things are.

Shinamae Tue 24-Jun-25 23:28:28

Very well deserved….
