Why should journalists who are anti semitic be allowed into Gaza? The picture recently posted of that poor ill child in his mothers arms was cropped by the paper to remove his brother from the picture, his brother and his mother show no signs of starvation. If these so-called neutraljournalists crop pictures to tell a lie, why should they be allowed in. Some journalists have been allowed in. Douglas Murray being one of them, but because they tell a different story they are often ignored and discredited. It's amazing how many people believe the lies about Gaza. Of course people are suffering in Gaza, it's a war zone. A war started by the elected government of Gaza. (Please don't say it was justified by the occupation by Isreal or that Isreal stole the land. Isreal forceable removed every Jew, living and dead, from Gaza in 2005 and handed the area over to the people who lived there. There has never been a country called Palestine, and in that area, for hundred of years, Arabs, Jews and other nationalities have lived.) Of course Isreal has made mistakes in this war, they are fallible human beings. Just like our leaders made mistakes during WW2. Should we have stopped and allow the enemy to survive so they could do it again? The pictures recently seen on the media are not of starving children, they are ill. The New York Times has admitted this deception. The majority of the images we see of the starving are not from Gaza, yet people believe they are and don't see or reject any of the reports exposing the deception. Please read the Hamas charter, listen to the past and present speeches of the Hamas leaders and other officials. They are not interested in a 2 State solution. They aim is to have the whole area under Islamic law. I don't hear any complaints about Egypt, they also have a border with Gaza. They shut the border, under international law they should have an open border to allow refugees from the war in, but they shut it, locking in the civilians who want to escape so that they could be become casualties in the conflict. Guess who would then get the blame? There are many tons of food rotting in the heat of Gaza that the UN should be distributing. Why are they not doing their job? Lots of people don't want to hear the truth, many are just racists, they hate the Jews. Hamas were never going to release all the hostages and half have probably been murdered.
Down to around 20 still only just alive and others just human remains which even those will be held onto for leverage.

If Palestine were inflicting damage on Israel it would most definitely be reported.
Israel has stated again this morning that it wants to continue this war.
The world has not forgotten the hostages who could and should have been released months ago had Israel not began bombing again instead of keeping to the agreement they signed.
The crisis can be solved by Israel . The only western politician if you can call him that , that Netanyahu and his cronies would take notice of is Trump.

I am struggling to understand the mindset of Hamas. If a genocide is being committed in Gaza, why is Hamas actively working against any compromise? Is Hamas blind to the suffering of Palestinians? Does it simply not have emotions? Why won’t it return hostages to Israel?

My take on this is that even if Hamas return hostages Israel will continue to bomb Gaza and limit aid. If this was about the hostages Netanyahu would have pushed harder for a ceasefire from the beginning, when Qatar were trying to act as mediators.
Hamas is a law unto themselves, a terrorist militia that is capable of terrible atrocities but Israel is a first world democratic country supported by western governments, not terrorists allegedly, so they could have and should have stopped short of genocide and famine.

The answer to ronib is that hamas don’t care about Gazans, not at all.All they care about is their twisted ideology and desperation to stay in power.
They won’t give the last few hostages back and they have no interest in disarming.
