More than 100,000 people in central London have joined a march organised by far-right activist Tommy Robinson

I ll say no more it’s devastating for this country

2 million @ Notting Hill Carnival.

If that’s the case they need to move that carnival to Hyde park. Notting Hill is way too small now. Weren’t there 500 arrests this year? I suppose not to bad out of two million.

The Metropolitan Police estimated that between 110,000 and 150,000 people attended the march.

Over 2 million people attended Notting Hill Carnival.
Only 600 compostable toilets were provided.

I think there was way more than that.
Watched a guy on YouTube, recording the crowd walking down the road as they were being directed. He counted 480,000 before his battery conked out. Still coming down the road 1.5 hrs later so has to be more.

Theatrelover, way more than that for sure.

Yeah, probably nearer a billion.

Wow. No wonder they were using home owners front yards as toilets

Closer to a million

Mt61, I’d say closer to 200 thousand million.

Crowd behaviour from just about any cause or reason tends to get out of hand by a few unfortunately.
There were around a hundred thousand in the Unite The Kingdom crowd.

Closer to a million

The Metropolitan Police estimate of people attending the Unite the Kingdom march last Saturday is between 100,000 and 150,000. More than expected, but nowhere a million.

'Nowhere near a million'.

Be honest a lot of the "supporters " go for a good kicking and a good fight.
How can you support them. !!

Oh don’t spout rubbish!

FriedGreenTomatoes, I totally agree with you. I think some people have been misled. It is not at all far-right to be patriotic and mostly it is the Silent Majority who are out there today.

We know Labour voters that have gone down to London so not all ‘far right’

More than a 100.000, five times more than that I would say.

These figures are utterly depressing and frightening PaynesGrey and Daddima.

theworriedwell Tue 16-Sept-25 14:47:44

I don't know about anyone else but when I hear the "protecting our women". I just want to shout "don't include me in that, I'm not one of your women.,"

Three times more than that Daddima. 105 and counting. Runs to five pages so I’ll have to attach over two posts.

The notion that these men are on a crusade to protect women and children is utter fiction.

Note number 91 Anthony Styles (second post). He was one of the protesters outside the Bell Hotel in Epping. He’s a convicted paedophile.

British Christian values indeed.

Really makes you stop and think doesn’t it Daddima.

Well, one hopes it does!

Won't make certain types think for a minute. Doesn't fit with what they want to believe so they won't believe it.

PaynesGrey Tue 16-Sept-25 14:35:08

Second post ... attaching items 4 and 5 of 5.

Sadly, it won’t make a lot of people stop and think, and the myth that the people ‘protesting’ really are patriotic citizens who want to ‘protect our women and children’ will persist.

Daddima, please keep that list very handy, so that you can re-post it everytime this topic pops up.

Chocolatelovinggran Tue 16-Sept-25 14:03:12

That's quite a roll call, Daddima !

Notting Hill carnival by any chance?

Yes. Those are the MET figures. The first set were higher, but revised lower on the second day report.
