There was another thread about this couple, who had been imprisoned by the Taliban in Afghanistan.
However, the search facility does not appear to be working.
They are charity workers who had worked in Afghanistan for two decades, teaching a programme approved by the Taliban but were inexplicably captured and imprisoned, separately, eight months ago.
After negotiations by the Qatari Government, in co-ordinstion with the UK, they have now been released and have had a reunion with their daughter.
They have said that they are ready to come home, thankfully.

Does anybody else do a double take at references to “elderly” in news reports- not specifically this one- where the subjects are younger than oneself?
In this case, he is 2 years older than me and she is 2 years younger which puts me in the middle.
But “elderly” - ?
