Now factually that is incorrect and is disrespectful to all black peoples.
Btw. She was told to leave the shop and never return.

Good for her - I reckon we could do more of that. Both my ACs haggle with Virgin and pay about half what I do for exactly the same service, which annoys me, but the ball as they say is in my court.

The Islamic mediation courts are not part of our legal system Judaism also has mediation courts which are outside our legal system. Personally, I do not agree with either informal system since they reinforce male dominance. However, if we want to see the end to such systems we will not achieve it by marginalising and demonising certain groups. It will have the opposite effect.

The only people who can put an end to Islamic and Jewish courts are Muslims and Jews themselves because they are the only people to whom the laws are applicable. The laws are worth nothing in the UK legal system.

If people are concerned that women are being duped by the laws, they could try telling them, but it's up to them if they accept it. It's no different from Catholics who wouldn't use contraceptives or divorce as a result of religious belief, when the law of the land stipulated that they could.

I read the Opinion article written by Sadiq Khan in the Guardian (16.09.'25) which goes some way to explain Trump's on going feud and attack on Khan, but the UN was not the place to deliver it. I have a recollection of Khan holding a letter he had written concerning Trump's latest visit, but can find no reference to it so am unable to quote from it.

I do not care for Sadiq Khan, nor his behaviour as Mayor, and for people to claim his actions in London are of no concern to people outside London is specious. He has an immensely influential role. Most of the population are not gullible fools and are capable of rational thought.

There are thought to be between 30-85 Sharia Councils or Courts operating in Britain at present. Sharia courts advise on matters religious and financial in civil disputes but their decisions do not overrule UK law, and have no legal jurisdiction or binding authority. But some members within the Muslim community are not aware/do not believe this; evidence based on conversations with Muslim parents and British lawyers who work with them.

Another regularly used racist trope is that Muslims treat women badly. Will put that to bed as well. There are many non Muslim societies where some women can be treated badly, this is normally down to patriarchal cultures, and can happen in any country regardless of religion, indeed women from the Bible Belt in the US are probably not allowed the freedoms we would expect of a woman in a western society. Many Muslim women, however, carve out demanding careers for themselves encouraged to do this by mothers and fathers who don’t think their place is in the home, and are not the cowed or submissive little women we might imagine them to be. They are brash and bold and supporting programmes and initiatives in their areas to empower other women. I have yet to meet one who submits to the men in her family.
Again this is something I shouldn’t need to explain but hey ho.

I guess it's OK to lie , as long as everybody realises what he says is a lie. Hopefully, his lies will eventually backfire on him. Rather than inciting people to hatred (which is what his aim seems to be), people will stop believing any word which comes out of his mouth.

Stating that somebody wants Sharia Law implies that person wants to commit treason because it would be undermining the actual law. That's pretty serious if it's not true.
