Where do you get your news?

We buy The Telegraph each Saturday and the puzzle pages keep us going for most of the week. I supplement it with the ‘I’ my newspaper of choice, on a Thursday some weeks.
I used to buy the DT and or the i but now I have both online. Costs me £40per year for the two. I love the puzzles.

BBC1, BBC radio, on TV and on pc and mobile phone. I love the news, although trying to cut back lately as it's so depressing.

BBC TV, Radio 4, ITV news , GB news, The Daily Telegraph, and articles I can access via Google.

BBC (including World Service); Channel 4 news ;CNN; the Guardian; Euronews: TV France.

I got caught up with some phone calls but thank you for the real cross-section you suggest.

My reason for watching Canada Today (the link I posted) is because it cheers me up!

I usually watch the Channel 4 news at 7 o’clock.

The radio is on for most of the day but I don’t actively listen to the news on it. Even the Today programme is background to the routine of starting the day.

BBC News and the Daily Mail. Yes, I know but I like the crossword. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

All sorts of different sources, Channel 4 news, BBC news, Reuters, The Independent, The Guardian, The Times, The Washington Post, Haaretz, and many others when googling for different sources.

Primarily newspapers. This is because they contain news across a wide range of topics across a wide range of topics and one of the joys of that is that I find myself reading articles about subjects totally unfamiliar to me or even on subjects I have no interest in (like sport) but something catches my eye and I read it.

Online I watch BBC news, occasionally Sky news, but News sources like these offer the news they know you are interested in and that is very restrictive.

If I’m looking for a news topic, I normally Google it, then read what different sources say. I’m not particularly loyal to any source, although I find Reuters is very reliable, and balanced. I’m also a fan of FullFact, The Conversation and the in depth analyses done by BBC, Sky, Channel 4 News, CNN etc.

The Guardian, the BBC and Private Eye magazine.

The Guardian needs all the help it can get. I won't be buying a jumper though.

I've given up on the BBC but still watch the early evening news because the local news follows it. The local news occasionally contains something of interest and the weather map.

Other than that we buy a couple of weekend newspapers most weeks. I flick through TV news channels and watch what interests me. If we are around in the early evening we tune into GBNews. I know that's really not approved of by many but I won't lose any sleep over that.

I also take an interest in what is happening with friends and family. I have six AC of my own, their partners, and lots of nieces and nephews working in different fields. I like to hear their take on things. My DGC are now mid teens and have their own opinions and ask me what I think about things like the flags on lamp posts etc.. If Labour follow through and keep their promise the oldest three will vote in the next GE.

All over the place, BBC, Sky, Times, Mail, my left wing children, GN - a fair cross section i think.

A variety of sources. Some of my sources are even GN approved. 🤗
