Another gang jailed today for a total of 174 years. 👏👏

One has fled the country so I hope they find him. Others were caught as they were preparing to flee.

One of the women spoke on TV today and was very brave to do so.

Jimmy Saville knew hundreds of very influential people; so did Epstein. So did Thomas Hamilton. They are just further examples of paedophiles who abused many children in full sight for many years because they knew they could get away with it.

The only possible way such men can operate in public view and evade every complaint for so long, is by being protected in high places; by other paedophiles and sex abusers.

Absolutely

Some are in plain sight. I was assaulted twice, by two different Asian doctors.
I think all these girls that have had the guts to speak out, are tremendously brave.

Grooming gang?? Disgusting predatory paedo child abusers. Does Sadiq know & acknowledge what they are yet?

Listening to him being asked questions on the grooming gangs, in that committee meeting, I don’t think he gave a shit, tbh.

No don't watch and weep.
Get angry, research the history.
Check the background of people in the Police force, government, MPs of ALL persuasion.
Give Maggie Oliver support.
Campaign where possible.

Tears are wasted now.
Action is abetter use of your emotion.

Check out the Recusant Nine Raja Miah on Facebook youtube ect.

You won't like what you find as it is horrific, but it will educate people.

For years people vilified the victims and accused those that knew more of conspiracy theories or outright racism.
Some still do.

Paedophilia must be challenged where ever it is found.
Children are being let down as we speak.

Watch and weep. 😥 It’s the father of one of the victims.

And it only took 19 years for the powers that be to prosecute the scum 🤬
What a shame they will be protected in goal 🤬

There is plenty of evidence this situation has been happening since the '70s.
Making the 19years look even more horrendous.

They may well be protected in jail, but they are or have been protected by most of our institutions for donkeys years.
Including our politicians.
What hope is there of eradicating this behaviour, when the most powerful people let them free just because they need the space to house people who contravene the draconian hate speech laws?

If anyone has questions as to how or why this situation has been actively covered up, and continues to this day, one only has to look back at how pedophiles have been treated and, more pertinently, by whom in the past.

How was this allowed to happen, and on such a scale? A really thorough investigation is needed.
The Epstein case shows that there is a market for young girls. They should be better protected and parents should be more responsible.

and parents should be more responsible.

Many girls were 'in care', mum2three and reported the abuse. How far could they get when no-one did care and when, as alleged, even a senior police officer was involved in the abuse?

GrannyGravy13 Thu 02-Oct-25 07:57:10

petra I really admire Maggie Oliver, she has worked 24/7 for those poor abused girls.

As for the b****rd men 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

How was this allowed to happen
This one incident might explain how.
Maggie Oliver was in her car with one of the victims, they were trying to find a flat where the girl had been raped.
At this time Maggie Oliver was still a serving officer.
While on this journey the girl pointed out one of her rapist.
He was a senior police officer that Maggie Oliver was working with.

Finally! Why has it taken so long? The poor girls. The bravery of those who put themselves forward to be witnesses!
I hope that other gangs are caught and prosecuted soon, as I have no doubt that this lot is far from being a one off.

Sarnia I couldn't agree with you more. Spot on.

Sarnia Wed 01-Oct-25 18:08:43

Pure filth, every single one of them. Like most things in this country it has taken far too long to bring these low lives to justice. And people wonder why there are demonstrations and riots.

Now nail the bigwigs. Several complicit agencies are involved here too. Never mind the “nothing to see here” defence.

Hear, hear, FriedGreenTomatoes!
Route the devil's out! A girl at my school was in -care and she was blatantly targeted by one of the science teachers. A married man!
It was horrible to watch but she had been so deprived of attention that she was a very obvious vulnerable sitting- duck!
The perfect victim for a deviant man such as he!
A poor, vulnerable girl & he knew it! Dreadful. 😶

Rosie51 Wed 01-Oct-25 16:55:48

Well, some won't come out of prison but it's a pity that others may be free again in far too short a time. Sadly probably none will serve the full sentence they'll likely be paroled which is a travesty as those poor girls are serving a life sentence. It breaks my heart to just read about their abuse, they lived it.

Oreo Wed 01-Oct-25 16:53:45

How many times have we heard ‘ we will learn lessons from this’ and ‘we apologise profusely’? Then it happens again.
This country has tiptoed around what it sees as ‘the race’ and
‘The culture’ problem time and again. It’s an utter disgrace.

Allira Wed 01-Oct-25 16:48:13

FGT2 That makes me weep too
For that child but tears of rage too. How dare Social Services have said that - I hope whoever it was was sacked and kept away from children too.

Well, some won't come out of prison but it's a pity that others may be free again in far too short a time.

petra Wed 01-Oct-25 16:44:34

And it’s happening while we are posted here 😥

petra Wed 01-Oct-25 16:42:38

How, just how can a professional state that a 10 year old child prostituted herself. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🥰🥰

FriedGreenTomatoes2 Wed 01-Oct-25 16:41:32

Reading this made me cry (from the Court transcript):

“Social services and the police have apologised for their past failings surrounding the victims, who were abused in the town between 2001 and 2006.

The prosecution told the court: “It got to a stage where he [Zahid] was confident that nothing would be done about it and he would ring the care home and would also go there to pick her up and drop her off.

“Such was the brazen way he did this that, by the end of the abuse, he felt almost untouchable.

“It’s not as if she had no one to turn to. She turned to the care home. She turned to social services. She felt able to tell them at some stages, or other people did, and nothing was done. People knew, authorities knew. And nothing was done.” 😢

Sago Wed 01-Oct-25 16:39:53

Those poor girls and their families.
I hope this sentence brings them some comfort.
