Confirmed I've seen a broadcast of only 1 hour ago by Al Jazeera saying that "Israelis" are indeed still bombing.

Thinks to myself - I have quite another name for "Israelis" and "Israel" and use it frequently. I'm being very restrained calling them what they call themselves - and with just inverted commas around to equal "...and that's the names they use....".

Off to see if I can figure out whether they've managed/or even tried to restrain Daniella Weiss (that awful female leader of the "settlers").....as I don't suppose we've heard the last of her yet...

I think WW has been on GN longer than me and I've been posting for about six years. She has always been polite and moderate and I'm not sure how she has been banned. It's a shame if it was just an uncharacteristic outburst.

I’ve been a member since the start: 2011.
I’ve seen many members banned for posting far less offensive posts than the one being discussed.

Life in Gaza has been unremittingly dire. HAMAS building tunnels under schools and hospitals hasn’t helped the ordinary Palestinians trying to cope with life. Maybe now they’ll not only survive but prosper with a bit of luck.

Probably the IDF bombing the life out of ordinary Palestinians for the last 2 years also hasn’t helped.

Well Germanshepherdsmum was never allowed back after her ban and is very sorely missed by many of us. She appealed but was refused.

That is a shame that WW has been banned hopefully she will have a successful appeal

GSM is still sorely missed on this site. Her legal background was immensely helpful to so many on here

I don’t think it’s clear yet whether it’s a ban or just a suspension (ie a temporary ban).

If there is a ceasefire tonight that has to be something to celebrate. The hostages could be home soon. I'm not going to let little niggles cloud the joy!

I’ve only just picked this up as I’ve stepped right away from GN at the moment, particularly the N&P thread.

I’m shocked that WW has been banned. Whoever reported her and instigated the ban knows who they are, but clearly don’t have the guts to take responsibility for their actions. Cowardly!
