I wonder if it's the rose tinted glasses but I recall what was served up to us as entertainment in the past was much lighter?

There was the odd nod to something dodgy/unpleasant but not it is a diet of unrelenting gloom.

So, TRIP has just done a podcast of positivity and my goodness it absolutely uplifts one’s mood.

So many delightful reports on a very wide choice of subjects like NHS and Teaching - it really is worth a listen to lift one’s spirits.

I found it really made a difference too. And the statistics about numbers of positive news in 1970s to now!
Another form of manipulation of our human instincts.

I was amazed by the stats on good news versus bad new stories.

Good news on renewables and the green turtles. I loved the story of the late Nobel prizewinner John Gurdon who was told by his teacher that his ambition to become a scientist was totally ridiculous.
