Social media plays a big part BUT the biggest issue is lack of discipline and consequences. The wokey lefties are to blame for the breakdown in society because heaven forbid you tell anyone off because it infringes their human rights. Poor Harvey and his family.

I watched the entire judge's summing up of the case.

Khan did not have a good family life. I mention this as the judge took it into account in mitigation of the sentence albeit not by much.

It's worth watching her summing up to understand the chain of events, how things between a group of four boys had escalated, starting out as bullying and racial abuse of Khan, who was new to the school, by someone referred to as Boy X who had threatened to knife Khan.

I am not defending what Khan did. He took a knife to school (he said as protection) but used it to murder the schoolfriend who has sided with Boy X in a row on Snapchat.

The issue is why boys are behaving in this way and the easy with which they can obtain weapons - and get them into school although one might imagine this could easily have happened off school premises.

One life lost and another wasted apparently over a third boy who doesn't appear to have to bear any responsibility.

You should watch 24 hours in police custody /Nicholas to see the awful content of games they become addicted to. Nicholas was on his way to become the UK s largest mass school shooter when arrested. One of his games was killing children with a rifle.

And why oh why did his mother not question him about the axe? If that had been my son there would have been a serious conversation! I think the time has come for schools to have the metal arch thingy (not sure what it is called) where they can check if a pupil has a knife etc on them. Sign of the times

Social media and the internet are to blame in my opinion.

Knifed a fellow student. Apparently the killer’s mother had also found an axe in his bag!

What is going on in the world. I could weep.
