Another stabbing by an immigrant. When do we wake up and smell the coffee?

Goodness me, the description of some non whites on certain threads in GN go far further than white trash!

(and then I recall long tirades in the past on GN describing aspects of anti-social behaviour and grumbling that the police don't do enough, or cheating on £70 benefits and wonder exactly how someone can then complain when the words white trash are used when that is exactly what they are implying!

Immigrants do not commit proportionately more sexual and other offences .
It’s something that is constantly repeated but it is wrong.
There is plenty of evidence to support this but it seems some people wish to stir up distrust of those seeking safety or a better life.
Something most of us here have been lucky enough never had to face.

I read the thread title, just pointing out that it makes more headlines when immigrants do it. I can make the comparison that there is alot of white males doing unspeakable things.
I am not ashamed of my comment and stand by them. Two white men attack a woman and say she should not be here. They were white, they were racist, and given what they done they are trash.
Please do not tell me what I can post, I will post where I like. The post will no dought be deleted but I truly don't care.

Sago - You are spot on. I agree we have our homegrown criminals always have and always will but immigrants commit a disproportionately large amount of violent and sexual crimes and we don't need them arriving on a daily basis adding to the numbers. Making childish comments about coffee isn't going to help the situation.

The fact is, if someone of a different colour or nationality commits a crime some posters seize on it. The fact that two racist white men attacked a woman saying she should not be over here makes them trash in my opinion.
Posters are very quick to make comments about immigrants, yet are more worried about me calling those white men what they are.

Violent crime is a problem, no matter who commits it.
Pretending it is only committed by asylum seekers is something other than 'naive'.

Nobody is saying crime is only committed by immigrants/asylum seekers.

There is a disproportionate amount of violent and sexual crimes committed by these men.

Men who come into our country without any proof of who they are, who expect the British taxpayer to support them and that have no respect for our beliefs and values.

How many more people will be sacrificed on the alter of diversity?

Bukkie, you really need to realise that your own POV is an opinion, not the truth as such. We are all offering different opinions and putting different points of view and points and references to back up these points of view.

Statements that just say 'such and such is happening", especially when it implies "they are all the same" or other inaccuracies is bound to be picked up and challenged unless it's backed up by references.

Babs03 - Having different thoughts and opinions is fine. Pretending we don't have a problem with asylum seekers committing violent crime is naive. Reread Opal's post on page 2, it sums up the situation we are facing perfectly.

No woman should be killed by anyone, or raped, or attacked. Let's spare a thought for the woman who was attacked and set about by white trash because she was of another colour and nationality.

Would someone please explain why it's OK to say "white trash" but it's not OK to say "black trash"?? Racism is racism is racism.

My experience Allsorts, is that yes I find the topic of small boats and asylum seekers is often discussed by my family and friends, by people I meet in various places. It’s much more common for me to hear sympathy and understanding than angry suggestions this group is more of a threat to me than white British men on eg public transport

It's saying on the news that he came in on the back of a lorry.
We do not know what sort of people are coming in to the country illegally.
Murders, rapist's, theives etc.
I'm all for legal immigration as hopefully that is controlled and they will enhance the country.
