Breaking news is that Andrew will now be Andrew Mountbatten - Windsor, his title is no longer, and he will move out of Royal Lodge.

Mollygo Sun 02-Nov-25 12:47:08

Saying you don’t care if only Andrew is held to account rather than aiming for all those involved to be named and accused sounds more like an attack on one person rather than wanting justice for all those abused.
You’re probably in company with many Americans, especially DT.

Whitewavemark2 Sun 02-Nov-25 12:58:43

Absolutely not! And to suggest that one person who has been named by an abused female should not stand trial, because other suspects have not yet been named - although identified in the Epstein files seems a very warped sense of justice to me.

Anniebach Sun 02-Nov-25 13:03:36

Such confidence than naming will bring about a trial , I can’t share it

Anniebach Sun 02-Nov-25 13:07:37

Harry Dunn comes to mind

Granniesunite Sun 02-Nov-25 13:11:19

I think the late monarch was a very intelligent and informed woman with the very best of intelligence officers at her disposal. To say otherwise would be inaccurate anniebach and undermine her.

The culprit here is her son Andrew who travelled around the world doing all sorts of stuff.

I also don’t believe that this disturbing information about this young girl…and remember she was a young girl when this happened…is the only information the palace has.

Perhaps the straw that finally broke the camel’s back is still to be made public.

Smileless2012 Sun 02-Nov-25 13:20:23

No one's suggesting Andrew shouldn't stand trial because the names of other suspects aren't in the public domain WW but you did say you don't care if he's the only one held to account.

If other suspects have been identified in those files and that information is not being made public and action being taken, that for me is a very warped sense of justice with Andrew as the fall guy.

There are clearly reasons why the files remained seal and whatever information Andrew may or may not have will not induce anyone to reveal their content.

Anniebach Sun 02-Nov-25 13:22:07

Yes Granniesunite but surely if the King delayed action allegedly ,so did the late Queen.

Anniebach Sun 02-Nov-25 13:25:21

Agree Smileless, and if only Andrew named who is free to continue abusing ?

Smileless2012 Sun 02-Nov-25 13:27:56

And where is the justice that everyone's clamoring for Annie?

Anniebach Sun 02-Nov-25 13:33:12

To punish one only isn’t my thoughts on justice

Granniesunite Sun 02-Nov-25 13:35:06

I suppose anniebach that particular piece of information will never be made public at least in our lifetime and possibly not in our grandchildren’s life time either.

But the King and William now publicly say they support the victims in this case. As we in this country know that’s a huge statement coming from the palace.

So we make up our own mind about the information we do have knowledge about

eazybee Sun 02-Nov-25 13:37:29

Is it justice people want, or is it vengeance?

Susieq62 Sun 02-Nov-25 13:38:09

I have no sympathy with lying person that he is! He needs to face the consequences of his actions as stated in Guiffres book!
He will never be broke or poor or worried about energy bills will he? I hope he gets all he deserves to honour the victims of Epstein et al

Is it justice people want, or is it vengeance?

Possibly both.

HS62 Sun 02-Nov-25 13:41:47

He should have been banished to the castle of mey, in caithness, Scotland, the queen mothers old roost. Not sure the locals would have him though.

Whitewavemark2 Sun 02-Nov-25 13:42:04

WM isn’t the fall guy, he’s the one in the public arena. I would very much hope that the many others are named, we do know that there are two Presidents.

Whether their wealth and power can prevent them from being placed in the public arena - who knows - I would hope not, but the fact that they aren’t yet out there should not mitigate against WM being held to account. The point is, we along with millions of others including it seems the RF (unless they know better, in which case their action point to guilt) are only making an assumption about his guilt, and until he stands in a court of law and stands trial no one will ever be sure.

Jojo1950 Sun 02-Nov-25 13:44:22

Agree! But from the book I hear he is a dirty old man! But who knows the whole truth??

His downfall is total. Even though I think he’s an entitled chump, I fear for his mental health with all this constant hounding by the media.

He'll be fine.

I fear for the mental health of those forced to live in squalid houses riddled with mice and cockroaches. Sod Andrew, he won't have to go through that.

Anniebach Sun 02-Nov-25 13:47:26

How can all the victims of Epstein be honoured if their abusers are not named ?

Revenge not justice

Anniebach Sun 02-Nov-25 13:49:38

Good grief seems people above a certain income shouldn’t have mental illness

Mog52 Sun 02-Nov-25 13:50:26

More to come now he is just plain mister?

Really, why Scotland ?

SparklyGrandma Sun 02-Nov-25 13:56:24

However, rock bottom would be moving to a council house and being interviewed by a police force.

Good question.
I haven’t read that he shouldn’t provide evidence, but to say you don’t care if Andrew is the only one to do so doesn't reflect much regard for justice for the other victims, and surely all those girls were not provided for one person.

lizzypopbottle Sun 02-Nov-25 14:02:21

Sorry if this has already been mentioned. Apparently the king is about to remove Mr Mountbatten Windsor's final title, that of Vice Admiral of the Fleet.
