I am unpopular with the National Federation of Women’s Institutes when I had the temerity to say they were wrong not giving the full membership a vote on whether they should accept transwomen in our Federation. We now have both biological women and transwomen. Then in our magazine they promote Suffragettes. I told them they were deluded!

Never heard of her, but 'pregnant people ' is a ridiculous expression, and if she replaced it with the correct 'pregnant women' good for her.
This is one reason I rarely listen to the BBC now, and I think: many other people do likewise and this is reflected in their ratings.
