There are newly released e-mails, which implicate the big beast. Time to watch and wait I think.

The other complication for him is Marjorie Taylor Green.
She is mega MAGA.
Why is she now clamouring for the release of the Files?
Has been suggested that she is considering standing as the MAGA Candidate in 28.
For that to happen, Trump has to go down.
The plot thickens.

So Trump has failed to stop the petition from going forward to a vote. At present it is thought that it will pass because of a groundswell of Republican opinion, which thinks that the Epstein files should be opened.

Expect frantic activity from Trump this coming week.

I’ve never seen such panic from such an innocent person😄😄.

Good to see you in, imaround! keep up the good work here.

Is the BBC issue a great big distraction?

Well it hasn't worked.

disgusting man. `last straw.

Just saw Peter Thiel's name in an email a journalist randomly clicked on. hmm

She signed the petition, but that doesn't mean it will ever be released. All this does is force a floor vote to release them. I had to look this up because I cant recall ever seeing this before, though I am sure it has happened.

Now I see why Trump and team are chatting up Mace and Boebart. If this goes to a floor vote, Republicans can only lose 2 votes to stop the release is what I think is happening here.

We will keep up with those emails.

I guess so. The next few days is going to be rather busy watching the media comb through this and release it.

Casdon Wed 12-Nov-25 21:24:37

It said on CNN that it was an additional 20,000 pages imaround, so from what you said, perhaps 3,000 had been released previously?

Maremia Wed 12-Nov-25 21:22:10

They will pull every dirty trick in the book.

Update.

Boebart (from Colorado) has reportedly been summoned by Trump's team to chat about her support for releasing the files.

On a side note, Boebart is super MAGA and her claim to game around here is giving a hand job during a public performance of Beetlejuice and getting kicked out of the performing arts center. There is something else about a divorce and her son being arrested. If they can flip her. This will die and they won't be released.

She is very vulnerable next year and in her reliably Republican district, lots of Democrats were elected last week. She has a big choice to make today.

I am confused about how many were released today. I saw a number of 23,000, but I am not sure if it is today's number or overall number of released. Saw another mention of Andrew in one, so I imagine that may kick back up again if any more trickle out.

Another interesting side note, the Johnson had said all along that he can't swear in the new AZ rep due to the shutdown. She is scheduled to be sworn in at 4pm and they will vote to end the shutdown at 7 pm. hmm

Maremia Wed 12-Nov-25 21:14:08

If Trump wasn't implicated, wouldn't the Files be published by now? wink

Iam64 Wed 12-Nov-25 20:56:28

Thanks for the link Casdon. Emily Maitliss impressive

Casdon Wed 12-Nov-25 20:55:16

Emily Maitliss said in her interview which I pasted above that it is not yet in the public domain exactly what the undisclosed evidence consists of, but she thought it may include pictures and videos. I saw that there was more related to Andrew, but haven’t yet seen any other names mentioned.

Iam64 Wed 12-Nov-25 20:50:34

I fear that unless video evidence appears, Mr T will continue to say, you still talking about Epstein? Nothing to see here. M

I’m also aware of the way allegations against powerful men here and in other countries are dismissed and the victims seen as liars out for compensation

Whitewavemark2 Wed 12-Nov-25 20:45:42

The thing is that Trump had promised the Christian right that he would release the files if he won the presidency. I hope that a lot of the republicans are feeling bound by that promise, as presumably votes are bound up in that promise?

Casdon Wed 12-Nov-25 20:40:42

‘The top House Democrat said President Donald Trump’s reported efforts to lobby Republicans to remove their names from the discharge petition to force a vote to release the Jeffrey Epstein files “speaks for itself.”

“This is the Republican nightmare, and it has now arrived,” House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries added.

“It’s extraordinary to me that rather than extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits, rather than find a bipartisan path forward for Democrats and Republicans to come together to deal with the Republican healthcare crisis, Donald Trump is spending his day pressuring people like Nancy Mace and Lauren Boebert to come off of the Epstein discharge petition because they are afraid, clearly, of what’s in those files,” he said.’

If you can imaround, please keep us updated.
Will watch that video Casdon, thanks. Still have a link from Maizie, on another Thread, to look at.
Busy, busy.

There is so much coming out it is difficult to keep up with it all.

You can imagine what it like in the WH at the moment.

There is also more stuff about Windsor coming out.

Oreo Wed 12-Nov-25 20:30:04

Maremia

Well Oreo, emails were enough to 'do for' Andrew WM.
Hopefully they work the same magic on Trump and the others.

That’s not logical really is it? Emails aren’t all the same. There could be evidence of Trump’s involvement but it isn’t a sure thing at all.

That is my favorite part of this foxie. I hope every single one of them are scared stuff right now.

Me too. These powerful players have been protected for way too long, has always felt so sickeningly wrong that up to now there is only one person jailed and that is a woman. Obvs Epstein was jailed but took his own life, there are so many other men who exploited these girls and have been getting away with it for decades. And the message this sends out to rich and powerful men is that you can do as you please for your own gratification and will never have to face the consequences.

AGAA4 Wed 12-Nov-25 18:48:21

The damage those men have done to their victims needs addressing. Trump may shout fake news but mud sticks.

imaround Wed 12-Nov-25 18:17:18

The good news is this release is showing us some other key players involved that (I think) were unknown before now.

I really hope this is like dominos and it just keeps coming out day after day and taking these powerful people down.

I am going to turn my ambient jazz back on. Less stressful. I will check in later this afternoon once the Az Representative is sworn in.
