Yes, the White House is saying that Democrats have released the emails to create a fake narrative. And sadly, all he has to do is tell his followers that it is fake and they will believe him.

I am watching Scipps right now as I got frustrated trying to get CNN up. They are interviewing Grijalva from Arizona. She is fired up about not being sworn in for 50 days after being elected. She will be our ally in the release of the files.

She believes that she was not sworn in for 50 days because she was the final vote to release the files. Johnson, of course, has gone on record saying that isn't the case. I think there are multiple reasons and the file release is just one of them. We will never know the full truth on this theory IMO.

I think there would have to be much more evidence of wrongdoing tbh than anything mentioned in those emails.

The BBC issue is barely hitting the headlines in the US, whereas the Epstein files are headline news, of huge interest to them, not just because of Trump being implicated, but who else might be too, and the implications of that.
