Trump on the Reiner's deaths

I just wondered if any of the pro Trump right wing posters here have any comment on this? Trump posted it on his platform TruthSocial yesterday. Seems it's a step too far for some US Evangelicals finally. Is it a step too far for UK supporters, the kind that say we need a Trump or he could be our president?

Just when I decide Trump can’t sink lower, he finds a way to do just that.

The post says so much about the narcissist Potus. As he said during his first presidential campaign, his supporters will support him no matter what.

He’s the leader of the free world. We are right to be concerned

It has to be about him, doesn't it, and anyone who does not offer him utter sycophancy is, of course, due some terrible revenge. It's either a God complex ( Old Testament style), or he's still at the toddler stage of development.
My two year old GC believes the world circles around her, and that a tree root which caused her to tumble was to blame. She will mature in the next few years and leave this behind: Mr Trump seems unlikely to do this.

He has never possessed the radar for appropriate behaviour with other people, but this is a step beyond that, it’s actually cruel.

I feel so sorry for their daughter.
Not only losing her parents, her brother arrested for their murders and now the POTUS posting this for all to read.

Allira

That cannot be true, surely, even for Trump?
It's completely deranged.

Is it AI?

No, it's really Donald Trump.

We're on the banned list now.
No Disney World for us.

It will be interesting to see how the phrase "Trump Derangement System" comes to be used in the future. Maybe not quite as intended?

😂 maybe change system to symptoms.

Outrageous.
So the two deceased ( God rest their souls) brought it upon themselves by criticising The Donald ?
Does this man ever listen to himself ?

CabbageWars13 Tue 16-Dec-25 13:33:43

Well, if proof positive of the garbage fermenting in what passes for President Trump's brain was needed then this was it.

I even wondered if MAGA or even Trump himself had paid the killer to do it. I wouldn't surprise me.

That is truly appalling even for Trump!

I imagine it'll be BAU in a day or so. Each time Trump pushes the window a little further and they all eventually fall into line.

LemonJam Tue 16-Dec-25 12:00:01

Trump set up his TruthSocial platform to give himself free rein to express his far right views and opinions. Trump said Reiner passed away "reportedly" due to his anger he caused to others through his incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as "TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME" etc etc. Using his own favoured expression Trump is evidently posting "fake news".

No such report exists. Neither does Trump mention that Reiner's son has been arrested for his mother and father's murder.

What's more unusual this time however is the direct pushback Trump is getting on TruthSocial from some of his usual supporters. Yet Trump doubles down. Will be interesting to see how his supporters are affected by this going forward.

AGAA4 Tue 16-Dec-25 11:24:29

It doesn't really surprise me that Trump would get revenge even when the man was dead.
He has no morality whatsoever.

It was an appalling comment.
No need to direct it towards 'pro Trump right -wing posters.'

Rage-bait?

Not at all. It is perfectly reasonable to question the morality of someone else's politics. The person they see as a good leader tells us much about their morality. Politics are one thing, morality another.

When I first read it I thought someone else had written it in a satirical way and was horrified when I realised that it was actually written by Trump himself. I didn’t think that even Trump would stoop so low.

How could this be unexpected or shocking that he’d stoop this low? Two US politicians were brutally murdered for being the opposite of his “political” leanings and he intentionally said nothing, making a display out of his silence as his supporters cheered. During his first presidency when the young woman was murdered by the right wing terrorist at the white supremacist rally and he called the rally goers good people, comparing them to the counter protesters? He is evil. Evil

LemonJam Tue 16-Dec-25 10:40:00

An absolutely appalling comment. Good to know that at least some of his right wing supporters in US have objected.

Wyllow3 Tue 16-Dec-25 10:18:37

Absolutely appalled with it.

Thank goodness his own party have objected.

I repeat, an appalling comment but too much use of 'far right' by too many posters allied with something they deem unpleasant.

Where is the term ‘far right’ on this thread?

It's not left or centre, and I would argue it's far off to the right compared with on school one nation conservative. What does that make Trump and MAGA?

LizzieDrip Tue 16-Dec-25 10:05:56

Grammaretto here’s a link to one of the very many reputable reports about Trump’s disgusting post:
