It was even worse over at the Daily Mail.
Their heading on Christmas Eve was, about a Celebrity I had never heard of, his wife and one or two children[i forget it was that memorable] being in snowy Norway or somewhere[not even Lapland as I remember].

Mind you, I always think, when no news[whatsoever apparently], to literally be thankful for no aeroplace crash, tsunami, road pile up, or whatever on that day.

The DM is usually obsessed with the Beckham family "feud" and their various parties and celebrations at their Cotswold mansion so it makes a change if they're focused on a minor celebrity's holiday to Norway.

There is a happy news link somewhere... There was a thread about it on here so maybe someone will come along soon and tell us about it again.

Pretty well one long moan was today's Guardian. Are they trying to beat Channel 4 News? Very difficult to find a good news story, I know, but their journalists must lead miserable lives.

As for the DM the least said the better.

When even Tess and Claudia jump overboard, you know that sinking ship can't be saved.

Where are they going?

This is the front page of the paper edition - From the BBC yesterday...

The Guardian leads with its own research, which suggests that fewer than one in 60 public sector workers are sharing leave with their partners when they have a baby. Experts have criticised it as a "lost decade" of progress on parental rights. The King and Queen Camilla are pictured on the front as they attend church in Sandringham.

Where did you find the strictly story?

The top news item in The Guardian is "Farewell to Tess and Claudia".

It's come to something when Strictly Come Dancing 'celebrities' get top billing in The Guardian.
