He’s threatening again!

There's a article in The Guardian saying that one of the Lauder family is a good friend of Trump and was instrumental in telling him about the riches in Greenland. He, himself has apparently bought into Danish companies.

Now it makes sense what Trump is up to. These techno billionaires want Greenland.

Cold climates reduces cooling costs of their high technology, improves their hardware longevity and lower failure of their equipment.

Greenland is one of the most technically efficient environments there is for next generation data infrastructure.

Also it sits at the junction of undersea cable/Arctic satellite coverage/early warning systems/transatlantic data routes.

Right - now we can see what's going on. On the other hand Denmark can compete with "We give you access to our welfare state - and you all know America wouldn't give you anything like that. We're an old and peaceful nation - and America most certainly isn't".

So - I guess Trump plans on saying "We've got a few well-paid technical jobs for the lucky and technically-minded ones of you - and the rest of you will just have to forget about having a welfare state and will just have to forget about your pristine country".

There was two neighbouring female cats that used to hang around my garden a lot until their awful owners moved out. I think Trump.must have a Big red hat in his bedroom, with every country in the world, and it's areas, all written down on pieces of paper.. and every morning after he's had his coffee and triple.chocolate donut for breakfast, he picks one, looks it up.on the map, does a google search to see if it's worth anything, and then decides if he wants to take it, attack it, or leave it alone. I wonder who'll be next!
I suppose being in America has lots.to.answer for.
I have tried to understand Ukraine and Russia, I've tried to understand tariffs, and sanctions etc

Imo the least of our concerns if he wants to rename things.

It's a typical power ploy to select a name or new name (as the case may be) - and it means "It's OUR country" if it's a part of a country and it means "Your influence is over now" if it's a house being renamed (that's precisely why I renamed my current house the second I bought it - it was done to say "Next door neighbour does NOT lay down the law about MY house - I've just changed the name"). The local Council fought back and tried to persuade me not to - I ignored them and gave out the message "It's my house now. I'm not asking your permission. I've checked whether I actually can for you and I'm telling you I've already done it. Bye".

Par for the course - and I wouldn't have changed my title from "Miss" to "Mrs someone else's surname" if I'd got married. The name from birth is "Ms my own surname" and was going to remain "Ms my own surname" whatever happened re marriage.

It's an ownership and influence thing...
