Woman shot and killed by ICE in Minnesota- potential legal action and outcome of investigation.

I just saw a clip of the guy before he was tackled . He was just fimimhg the ice agents. They started to push him and then the clip ended. No gun in sight just a phone. The first published clip shows him down on the ground. There is a lady filming it all that was quite close and from a good angle. Apparently, she is now held ..who knows what will happen to her video. Minneapolis has become a dangerous police state.

Are people not allowed to legally carry guns?

Looks like they are saying he had a gun. If that is the case, there were enough officers there to subdue him and remove his gun from him. These are not police officers. They are untrained mercenaries. A trained police officer would have had the tools to deescalate this. Actually, they would never have started this to begin with.

The number of excuses they come up with is amazing. This is why they do not want observers. Because the videos always show a different version than the "official" one.

If the local police try to preserve the scene of any of these killings and ICE try to stop them, I can see a war breaking out between them.

Yes he was a citizen who was observing when he was executed by ICE. I can't see a way to stop this from escalating at this point.

Absolutely shocking scenes in that video imaround. There were multiple ICE agents wrestling the man to the ground- certainly sufficient in number to do so safely if they had received restraint training.

Just what reason has/is going to be given by ICE for firing multiple fatal shots in that situation?? Absolutely shocking!

This is a direct violation of the 4th Amendment. They can not enter a home without a judicial warrant, which they do not have.

It’s appallingly shocking, what is happening to our once almost civilised world.

I’ve also just seen another person has been shot.

Minnesota officials are furious, rightfully so. The ICE Gestapo are simply terrorizing communities. Sending thousands of violent, aggressive, untrained thugs into communities of people this administration hates will lead to more shootings. This is a powder keg waiting to blow.

Not that they mean much to those affected, but my thoughts and prayers really are with those communities. It’s hard to believe US society has devolved to this in 2026.

This is an interesting substack article. It is exactly what I am seeing here in the US.

Citizens are arming themselves. Local law enforcement and National Guard have been told to wear green safety vests so that people can distinguish them from ICE.

Looks like ICE is ramping up in Maine and I saw stories of Pennsylvania preparing. In my own state, we are seeing ICE ramp up and people are already starting to form watch groups and patrols.

I am afraid it is about to be the wild west out here. This is when we could see the 2nd Amendment come into play.

How many grown men does it take to subdue a five year old? This whole thing is truly terrifying. Whatever menace Trump may be to the rest of the Western world, clearly things are so much worse back home. This looks like state backed terrorsim.

I have been listening to a podcast broadcast from Minneapolis through this past week, and I am beginning to fear and understand just how serious this could become.

Two instances of many others, just thus week. A 5 year old was snatched from the streets and sent it is thought to Texas - but not clear. An elderly man was snatched from what looked like his bed, wearing only boxer shorts with a blanket slung over his shoulders - but mostly naked - in -minus temperatures.

All without warrant. And it isn’t just immigrants that are being targeted. Ordinary citizens are frightened and being picked up for no apparent reason. School busses are being chased by ICE

This is truly the actions of a gestapo.

It is now being thought that Minneapolis is serving as a Guinea pig for the whole of the USA, and if Trump can get it to work there he intends to use it as a model to spread authoritarianism through a country which was once the land of the free.

But we must never be complacent - we know that when USA sneezes the U.K. catches cold. Two of our political parties have indicated that they intend to introduce the same regime.

We live in scary times.
