Good Morning Wednesday 6th May 2026
Arrested on suspicion of misconduct in Public office.
It has been alleged that King Charles paid up to 5 million pounds of the 12 million.
Interesting thought Allira, if he is dead.
Think they are trying to please the public by going down the trade envoy route. They will pin a few things on him and give him a light sentence to please everyone.
They will try to cover up all the sexual sleazy stuff because I think this embarrasses the monarchy more. It shows that they behave worse than us mere mortals who are not blue blooded.

Satirical comedians will have a field day over this. Shame there isnβt a series of HIGNFY running at the moment.

Of course and other posters are then able to draw their own conclusions based on that.

Nothing has ever been proved?
So, Epstein died in prison, for no reason?
Maxwell is in prison, for no reason?
If he is dead.

Would you give a little toddler a ball shaped like a human breast plus nipple to play with as in the photo of Andrew recently released ? It just gets worse, what a sad sicko.
I'm not defending Andrew M-W in any way but we do have to be careful now of AI, what photos are real and which are fake.

This of course doesnβt just extend to royalty but to wealthy and powerful/famous people as well, many whose names have been revealed in the Epstein files. There seems to be a a shift away from the rules and laws that ordinary people have to abide by, an immoral and tacit understanding that they can get away with whatever they do wrong because they have the money and the connections to make the bad stuff disappear.
I honestly think they get to a point where they donβt even see ordinary people as being the same as them, they must believe they are superior beings and thereby able to treat such people with the contempt they deserve.
At least criminals at the bottom of the pile can argue that they were doing what they did to survive. Imho those at the top are much much worse.
This is so true.
Although it is now 50 years ago, put me in mind of the Lucan murder, the hastily convened summit at the Claremont Club, Lucanβs disappearance to South Africa. (Apparently)
The people involved were extremely wealthy and powerful.
After Lucan disappeared, all closed ranks against Lady Lucan who was not aristocratic but from an army family, who died impoverished and estranged from her children.
They described the nanny, Sandra Rivet, in pejorative terms, working class, as a person of little consequence.
We would find this shocking, but the rich, landed, entitled, ruling class Public School (possibly the same one) with staff referred to as servants, would not.
It is as though morality is an abstract concept to them.
β the more things change, the more they stay the sameβ
There is actually a 'silver lining' for AMW in having been arrested just now by a British Police Force.
While he is under investigation in the UK, he will no longer be available to be investigated in person in the USA.

This man has betrayed his position and us the general public.
No tears of joy from me.
Not you, TulipTree is the one crying with laughter. She seems to find that emoji useful in lots of posts on serious topics.

But as bad as those gaining such glee from an awful situation, but you keep letting those tears of joy continue to roll.
Yes Iβm very very pleased that at last after years and years of his being protected and bankrolled after it was known he was a liar and that he also had had to be sacked as trade envoy , had regularly invited god knows who to royal residences , that he is finally having to face face proper investigation. In what world and for what reason would I not be very very pleased?

I really don't think silly songs add anything to a serious matter, they're just puerile and prurient.
Better than so much of the misinformation posted on here.π

My goodness, what a waste of 12 million pounds, from the Windsors' point of view.
Paid out, for no reason, to a young woman nobody knew.Sing to the well known tune
The grand all Duke of York
He gave Β£12m quid
To someone he had never met
For something he never did
( except of course we know he was bank rolled and he lied on national TV)
He didn't give it, his mother did.
I agree that the misconduct in public office charge is the stronger, but how likely is it that AMW ever had sensitive information to pass on in the first place.
Who knows what a trade envoy does, but AMW was not a diplomat but a flag-waver. His emails to JE may not amount to much more than What I did on my hols

I think, just like Al Capone AMW could go down, if found guilty, of the lesser well known issue.
Thank you for your knowledgeable contributions to this thread LemonJam
I have learned a lot.
Iβm another who is struggling to feel any sympathy for the two York daughters.
Itβs known that they, with their mother, visited Epstein and had lunch with him just days after he was released from prison.
They were 19 and 20 at the time.
How at that age could they possibly not have known what he had been convicted of ?

The police are still gathering evidence. If Andrew is charged it will be for the public office offence.
As others have said there may be no actual evidence from the Epstein side of things but his association with Epstein doesn't show him in a good light.
He is a reprehensible character and I hope he is brought down for the disgusting way he has lived his life.
We honestly still donβt know yet. Of course they are still gathering evidence re the public office but other teams are still collecting evidence re the sex trafficking eg flights into Stanstead. He really isnβt off the hook re all of his sexual activity. And if he really is so innocent as some believe then it does beg the enormous question of why he wonβt cooperate with US authorities ( and ours).
Nothing has ever been proved?
So, Epstein died in prison, for no reason?
Maxwell is in prison, for no reason?
