I gave mine a kick yesterday (not hard, I'm not that violent! But I was frustrated) and it did suddenly decide to find the website I needed.

I really couldn't work off a phone. Have you tried a Samsung tablet?

On Safari (the default browser with Apple) you can find it under View at the top of the screen. Just move the curser to the top to reveal the taskbar and it's there.

For "browser" think "screen that you see and control the internet on" that is, "browse around the net on".

Look at the top edge of it in case it is zoom-in-able and you have never noticed. Even an old computer may have + and - to zoom in and out on.

My PC is so low it would drive me crackers to use it much.

The emojis apparently look different on different devices. Some came out as ??? on my DGD's phone when I sent her a message.

Does your browser have + and - signs somewhere at the top of the page, fancythat ? If you click on the + you can zoom in to the page (or out with the - ) Very useful for those of us without 20/20 vision.

Opinions and views from Gransnetters overseas are welcome even though I know some think they are not welcome whilst at the same time posting their own views on the Governments of other countries. The irony is not lost on many of us.

I have never said I don’t like the UK because that would not be true. I have criticised the government on many occasions, however. Some read into things things that are not there. I just give up. Think whatever you want, I cannot be bothered anymore.

There is a massive difference between having 'close connections' with a country and actually living there. I have a close family member living in Australia, but I wouldn't dream of repeating his opinions of the country or the government as they are simply that - his opinions. I don't assume that I have more knowledge than most about Australia because of that connection either.

All posters are entitled to their own opinion about anything, but constant denigration of the UK from someone who has not lived here for decades is wearing, and of course Brits are going to react against that. One minute we are being accused of cowardice and the next criticised for standing up for our country (the one we live in).
