Like Starmer, he has a sense of duty and they are both playing the long game. It's all grim, but, whether we like it or not, we cannot totally alienate the US just because they have a president who is mad.

The King is head of the Church of England and will no doubt be appalled by the blasphemy especially as there is an image which strongly resembles Jeffrey Epstein.

He’ll probably just treat it with the contempt it deserves but I’d love him to say, ‘enough’s enough’ and refuse to go.

I wish he would because we all Know Trump will capitalise on the King’s visit, using it to make him look as if even the English Royalty kowtow to him.
But I imagine the King will still go. 🤨

Me too. I’m hoping that they are just keeping an eye on the situation (The King being a bargaining tool) but will cancel at the last moment. Charles does seem to have a very good working relationship with the PM and I trust both of them to do what is right. But the King mustn’t put his sense of duty before his personal safety.
