... this is why I think the right wing are doing their nut, the EU have been clamping down on tax issues & Keir has been restricting the profits made by private fostering agencies. I'm a social worker and have had to sign forms for £2k a week or so to a private fostering agency who has housed a child because there simply isn't an alternative.
That profit isn't ploughed back into front line services. Part goes to the foster carer & their own staff, but these companies are often based offshore & raking in enormous profits. That's what has crippled local authority finances.
If Keir goes the right wing press will say Labour can't do it & install Farage and his insurance based model of healthcare just like his pal in America champions.
Farage is not to be trusted.
