Action from the DVSA.

From today the DVSA have made it illegal for anyone except the learner driver to book their driving test slot. 40% of tests were being block bought by touts and resold to learners at inflated prices. A £62 test costing in the region of £500. Some driving instructors were being paid £250 for their customers details so they could be targeted and offered a new date instead of having to wait for up to 6 months. Good for the DVSA.

The only body that can make anything legal or illegal is Parliament, So is this a brownie point for the government?

The government has just brought in measure to protect learner drivers agains the shocking and scandalous buy ups and re-selling of driving tests

Now only you and your family (picture pretty girl next to test car looking nervous but smiling) can book their test!

This is only part of packages of small but valuable measures brought in, including protecting vulnerable renters ....
