Dreadful news, how awful for her.

Dreadful news. She spoke such sense when she was on Jeremy Vine. And of course she will always be remembered for her memorable stint on Strictly.

This has bought tears to my eyes.
Poor Anne she must have been so frightened and defenseless.
Breaks my heart to think this was the end of her life in such a violent way.😢😢😢

This is dreadful. Poor woman. I had wondered whether she had had a stroke or heart attack or a fall.

Very shocked.

Apparently she was found at home with serious injuries. I did not agree with all her views but she certainly did not deserve this sad and wicked ending to her life. I have heard her speak, not about politics, but about her life outside of politics. She was an entertaining speaker.

I was surprised at her death. Shocked if it’s murder

I found her views abhorrent, but equally so the murder of an elderly woman. Very worrying.
Add in that a very close relative lives very near indeed to her and I cannot help but be concerned for their safety if someone dangerous is on the loose.

Poor woman! How awful that she is a murder victim.
