Interesting.
And the children starting school here.

I’m afraid I have no sympathy for them. They had it all and look what they did with it.
Others have suffered as a result of their selfish actions and having lurched from one disaster to another, all of their own making, they’re back where it all started but without all the carelessly discarded privileges.

Sorry but it serves them right.

I am beginning to feel sorry for them. they are so cloth-eared and unable to read the runes.

Almost everything that they have done has been a disaster. Meghan's loud complaints about the protocols at court and surrounding the Royal family before she had even married Harry, the Oprah interview, Prince Harry's book, the various tv series they tried to float and that have sunk without trace, Harry's obsessive desire to prosecute the press, to get police security.

I am very sure that at every stage someone in their suite of advisors has recommended not doing it, whatever 'it' might be. or doing it differently and on every occasion they have been overridden.

They have a huge and expensive house and grounds in Californi, which I suspect they can no longer afford to live in

They seem unable, whenever, they need to make a decision, managing to make the right one.

It is possible, further down the line, that they end up reclusive.
Though how they would manage their extravegent lifestyle I have no idea.
Unless they have "benefactors", like Sarah Ferguson appears to have done.

What Charity would want to be represented by them, especially with the King's seal of disapproval?
Uganda has withdrawn from the Invictus Games citing a certain loyalty to the King. The sight of Markle simpering for the Press in front of people with real challenges in their lives is unacceptable.

I'd imagine Harry wants to spend some time with his father.

That's understandable given the circumstances. Life is too precious and short.

I guess for them, all of them infact, there are so many complexities that there will always be tensions. It's up to Harry not to add to these by broadcasting everything and not to constantly criticise the family.

I think they are returning as a last resort. All their ventures have failed in the US.
I think it's a very desperate move as Meghan has expressed nothing but dislike for the UK. Having given several interviews about her unhappiness while living here shows hypocrisy and desperation.
She is also aware that she is disliked by a lot of us here. They both are.
Two very foolish, delusional and now desperate people.
Great entertainment!

Absolutely agree

^lovely photo but they look as if they are attending a funeral, all dressed in black, rather than taking a son to his new school.^
🤣🤣
Almost certainly if they’d worn anything else, there’d have been comments like
You’d think they would have dressed more smartly^ or are the cheerful colours because they’re seeing their son off to boarding school

Since they can’t win with everybody, I guess they wore what they were comfortable in.

Green
Perfectly smart IMO and entirely appropriate - maybe not as comfortable as they might have liked - those heels!

Oh it is.

I hadnt realised Prince William had grown so tall.

Did you mean George?
Prince William has been fully grown for about 20+ years! 🫪🫪🫪

Aveline Wed 09-Sept-26 11:12:51

Blimey. They're shameless

MarieElla Wed 09-Sept-26 11:05:25

Allegedly the two had contacted charities and hospitals with a view to doing visits. BP was contacted for advice and therefore KC put out the statement about their status.

JenniRen it looked bottle green to me grin - I only read the description after I'd posted the link.
I did think the full length image is a great shot actually.

Yes.

Good to see George looking happy.

She's in Bottle Green I think M0nica.

In the photos it looks black. I rarely take any notice of royal clothes, but seeing them all dressed in black, as the photos suggested, just seemed a bit odd.

Talking of Princess of Wales, this is a lovely photo today of a proud mum. And dad, both of them.

Have to disagree MOnica.

I think Catherine is wearing dark green, and anyway, a black suit is pretty standard wear for any event... and they are smiling and look happy.

I think so, too!

I think they are a ghastly couple not doing the royal family any good at all. Totally self absorbed and entitled. Please, please keep them and do not send them over to Australia, ever.

When is your Governor General due to retire? wink

No idea, I don’t even know who it is . I’m guessing not too many do.
