This is low, even for Reform

Its not just the small boats and the undocumented so called asylum seekers though is it? Mass immigration has changed the face of society in this country. No one - certainly not I - was ever asked if we wanted to vote for a so called multi ethnic society. We have been betrayed by the mandarins in Westminster and people are angry. Justifiably so.

Hmmm.

There are large numbers of white men who could do with more than a leaflet. Having been in an abusive marriage until 2022, and the sexually assaulted by an Ex methodist minister last October, in a faith situation, you will hardly be surprised I can't see why irregular migrants are being singled out.

Will Reform produce a game for them? The figures for domestic violence in the rent a blackshirt mon have a big % (of those convicted).

Stupid, hatred stirring (mutter, mutter...)

JenniferEccles Tue 15-Sept-26 23:23:48

Meanwhile the poor folk in Piddington a small Oxfordshire hamlet of just 300 souls are having over 1,000 immigrants, mostly young males of course, being foisted on them.

Now that is something to be outraged about, not a video game launched by the Reform party.

many have lost lives due to murder by these men, there's a reason our government have dished out leaflets telling them that rape of women and girls is against the law!!!

A few people have lost their lives, agreed, even 1 is too many, but many many more have been murdered by people whose have lived in this country for generations.

Different cultures behave in different ways. Were you (Cruiselover) to go to their countries you would almost undoubtedly offend them by the way you dress, your exposed arms and legs, by that, I mean uncovered. I am not talking about wearing burkas or hijabs, but short sleeved shirts and shorts.

It seems only reasonable that these men should be told the position of women and the status they have in this country. What I cannot believe is that this leaflet is only just being produced now. In my opinion, all immigrants legal or otherwise should have should have to attend a one day briefing course, delivered by lecturers able to field questions, on differences in culture between their countries and ours

I worked for a company that regularly sent British engineers and their families abroad on work assignments of several years. It was standard practice to send the whole family on a 1 week briefing course about the country they were going to. All our government can do is leaflet!!!!

That is horrible!!
Reminds me of the computer style games Trump and his buddies would play when they went to war with Iran, dropping bombs and scoring every time there were casualties/fatalities.
These people are morally bankrupt and should never have ever entered the political arena.

They're a few million richer for doing so, though...

Turning small boat Channel crossings into an online game with a cash prize is deeply controversial. It's easy to see why critics find it sickened and offensive.

tavini444 Tue 15-Sept-26 21:47:25

I think the criticism is justified. Political disagreement is one thing, but turning people crossing the Channel into a game with a cash prize feels unnecessarily dehumanising. Parties should be debating how to address the issue, not turning it into entertainment.

Available Data and TrackingDaily and Periodic Figures:

The UK Home Office records daily, weekly, and monthly totals for people and small boats arriving.

Organizations like the Migration Observatory at the University of Oxford and the House of Commons Library publish regular research briefings analyzing these trends. [1] (https://migrationobservatory.ox.ac.uk/resources/briefings/people-crossing-the-english-channel-in-small-boats/), [2] (https://www.facebook.com/InfoMigrants/posts/for-several-weeks-now-the-number-of-migrants-boarding-small-boats-to-cross-the-c/1068721522456256/), [3] (https://migranttracker.uk/), [4] (https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-briefings/cbp-10590/)

Daily Fluctuations: Daily numbers vary widely—ranging from zero on days with poor weather to hundreds on calm days. For example, recent Home Office tracking recorded 625 arrivals on a single day in September, while other weeks averaged around 140 to 200 people per day spread across multiple boats. [1] (https://www.facebook.com/InfoMigrants/posts/-according-to-british-government-data-a-total-of-625-migrants-made-it-across-the/1070093345652407/), [2] (https://migranttracker.uk/)

Asylum Connection: According to the House of Commons Library Asylum Statistics, roughly 95% of people who arrive via small boats go on to submit an asylum application. [1] (https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-briefings/sn01403/)

Broader Trends: Crossings in 2026 have shown an overall decline compared to previous years, down roughly 43% over the equivalent prior period due to heightened enforcement and French police interventions.

Live rolling tallies are also tracked independently by platforms like Migrant Tracker UK using reported Home Office data. Is it all about 'saving the nation', or is it really about stirring up violence and disorder?

Cossy Tue 15-Sept-26 21:16:44

So let’s look at this in context.

If this app is realtime, don’t you suppose that the recently formed “mobs” Patriot Platform are going to make their way to wherever these boats are due to land and then some form of confrontation will take place.

There might be some of you who think this is a good thing.

I don’t!

Cossy Tue 15-Sept-26 21:11:04

It seems the tracking app released via Reform, includes an integrated game.

AI tells me;

The App: On 14 September 2026, Reform UK launched a mobile application called SmallBoatWatch. (https://nz.news.yahoo.com/reform-uk-trying-distract-sleaze-170017442.html)

Tracking Features: The app allows users to monitor daily arrival figures of small boat crossings in the English Channel, view estimated taxpayer costs, and compare data under different prime ministers.

(https://www.instagram.com/p/DdTOO6blRIA/), [2] (https://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/2248525/nigel-farage-launches-surprise-game)

The Integrated Game: Built into the same tracker app is a mobile mini-game called "Small Boat Scramble", which allows players to steer a virtual Royal Navy vessel to intercept crossings.

If you are looking to download the tracking software, you can access it directly via the official Reform UK App Page.

Well said.

As I’ve done on many other posts I acknowledge that the channel crossings are an issue which requires resolving.

At the moment, however, I’d rather live next door to a group of migrants, than I would to a mob of masked activists, or women dressed in pink acting like vigilantes.

I disagree, the app is available for anyone that wants to watch just how many boats are crossing daily, the Media won't tell us so the app will.
You say the state of the country isn't done to migrants, again I disagree. Have you been following the people of Piddington? The migrants will change their village , way of life and the security of their women and children. The invasion of unknown men into this country has changed many places , many lives, many have lost lives due to murder by these men, there's a reason our government have dished out leaflets telling them that rape of women and girls is against the law!!!
Have you seen what's happening all over Europe, people have had enough and are finally starting to fight back, to get their countries back.

I suggest you listen to the speech made by Ed Davey regarding small boats on the news tonight.
In his speech he said that the UK needs to renew the relationship they had with the EU regarding the return of illegal migrants prior to Brexit - when there were no small boats and those arriving illegally on lorries etc., were a much smaller number. Brexit caused small boats.
But if you aren’t looking for political solutions but just want to have a go, is your call.
And I do think Piddington have a genuine case to answer, certainly it isn’t going to work for either the immigrants or the villagers to do what is being suggested. But am not going to start dehumanising those arriving on our shores, some of whom are genuine asylum seekers and some of whom are just desperate to make a living and send money home for their families.

This is not at all how this was described by The Mirror.

What they are describing is a newly launched mobile phone game. Is this what you’re describing?

Criticise me all you like and accuse me of being obsessed with Reform, if it makes you feel better.

Reform, via Nigel Farage's home affairs spokesman, Zia Yusuf, came under fire after unveiling the game, known as Small Boats Scramble. In a statement he also said the top scorer on the game over the next month would win £5,000.

It’s an online game, with a prize, which appears to comprise Royal Navy boats “capturing” small boats crossings the channel.

Is this really want we want from our political parties?

Frankly, I find this sickening!
I find Reform disgusting.

I no longer recognise this country we are living in, it’s certainly not because of migrants.
