Dear Larry wishing you better. They've come and gone during your tenure those annoying trespassers who you've been forced to share your house with. Sometimes it's been good riddance, especially when they've been accompanied by their own four legged squatters. Hopefully, a peaceful return to your duties, a job of the upmost importance although only when of course you're fighting fit. In the meantime I hope you have suitably comfortable cushion and some tasty food to speed your recovery.

I love our British affection for Larry. We admire his utter disdain of whoever he is obliged to share his home with.
Interestingly, one of the criticisms of Mr Trump on some American social media websites is that he doesn't have a dog.
Clearly, it's not just us who set such store by pets.

According to one calculation, Larry is 110 in human years.

I didn't realise Larry has had surgery. He must be the same age as some of us but he looks healthy. At least they have the money there to care for him!
