Disgusting and disrespectful to David Ames’s

What happened to both David Ames and Jo Cox was terrible.
Was an actual statue a good idea when the world is full of mean minded dipsticks who will spit and deface them wherever they can?Which then becomes very upsetting to the family.
Am thinking would a memorial hall in his honour be a better idea?

It’s a shame the perpetrator of this act doesn’t appraise himself fully with Amess’ Parlimentary record.

cossy I saw this yesterday, I have no words for this individual. I have seen the footage, accidentally I might add 😡😡😡

We knew DA, he was a kind family man and like you have posted a good constituency MP along with being respected in the parliament.

I really cannot understand the mentality of people who do vile stunts like this. From all I have read of MP David Amess he was a thoroughly good man and an excellent MP. It makes me sad for his family who have to go through yet more pain.
Hopefully they catch the moron but they won’t change his mindset.

Apparently other people when they heard went and washed and dried the statue and brought fresh flowers to decorate it.
