The organisation Pregnant then Screwed organises an annual event "March of the Mummies" in cities across the UK .The event highlights the organisations requests for child care and family friendly policies.
This year 4 weeks before it was due to happen the Met Police have said they will not police it. A legal protest is happening.
But why should this happen.
Does this show how biased the Met are? or is it the start of applying policies which will restrict demonstrations in the future? www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/sep/30/met-faces-legal-action-after-refusing-to-police-march-of-the-mummies
