I thought there’d be better disclosure and more transparency of the rules now!

A few hours ago the op space said something like "opening post withdrawn while we take a look".
Only they only used about 4 words.
My memory is shocking as can be seen!

I hadnt realised the thread had been deleted altogether.

Now gone to find the deleted thread.

It says

I was lead to believe that it’s against the rules to have a thread about a thread.

If I was going to hazard a guess then I'd say it was taken down because it was an attempt to control a thread - which having just witnessed a long standing member getting banned and this was one of the reasons, then I'm hardly surprised. I think we're all well past the age being instructed as to what we can say on an open forum, or not.
