I want to HELP...but HOW?

j08 Wed 06-Mar-13 11:38:01

I guess you have to decide for yourself soop. What would you like governments, our own particularly, to do?

Then write to your MP? Find a way to make a noise?

Then there's this

It's entireley up to the individual.

or write to this bloke and tell him what you think

It is barely listenable - and has happened so many times before. I always frel emotionally paralysed by these reports, mainly because I feel completely impotent. What can we do? - very little I suspect. The forces of greed and hatred that result in this flood of refugees are not within our control. And military involvement is fraught with hazard. All we can do is send our donations to provide physical comfort to the refugees, and to encourage our government to support the refugees on our behalf.

Have sent a brief but heartfelt message to the bloke you blued, jings

I've just spent time listening to J's link. It is heartbreaking and humanitarian aid is desperately needed.
