Want to take part in an online group for GNHQ? £100 to be won NOW CLOSED

Here at Mumsnet and Gransnet we are looking to run a series of private (ie no one else except those invited can view) online focus groups on threads on MN or GN during the week of 17 October and are now inviting folks to take part.

It's part of our regular annual work with the polling company Ipsos MORI, looking at what MNers and GNers think about political issues. You can see previous years' reports here (2013), here (2014) and last year’s one is here.

For the groups this year we are looking for people who have views on the recent European Union Referendum. The discussion will be about trust in the lead up to the referendum - who the public trusted and didn’t trust, the background to the referendum, the thoughts and emotions that informed people’s voting choices and more!
We'd love to set up 6 groups (3 on MN and 3 on GN) - with the following folks in each one.

~ Firm pro-Brexit voters - one for Mumsnet and one for Gransnet
~ Firm Remain voters - one for Mumsnet and one for Gransnet
~ People who were undecided or who could have gone either way (whether they voted in the end or not) - one for Mumsnet and one for Gransnet

We're looking for a variety of participants to join the groups: we'll be running 3 groups and want 10-20 Mumsnetters or Gransnetters for each group (c90 in total). We are keen to include a real variety of folks: this includes those with and without children, those who are working or not working, those with grandchildren, those looking for work, home owners and non homeowners etc.

Project overview
From people who apply we will select participants and then allocate 10-20 to each group.
All participants need to be eligible to vote in the UK, and for the firm Remain groups and firm pro-Brexit groups you’ll need to have voted that way in the referendum please
It doesn't matter if you have strong or not so strong political views on other topics.
The comments you make will be used - anonymously - in a report which will be prepared for publication in October-November.

How the groups will run
If you're selected to take part you'll need to add comments to one thread at least 3 times: we will post the first set of questions on Monday 17th October, and you'll have a couple of days to add your response and hopefully discuss the topic with other participants. On Wednesday 19th we will add some follow up questions and you'll be sent the link again and asked to add your thoughts/ response to those questions then. You'll need to add your final thoughts by Monday 24th October at 9am. You're welcome to add any additional comments whenever you like between these dates and we may ask subsequent questions later in October-November if any key issues arise, that you'd be free to answer.
We might also need some participants to act as a case study - this would be voluntary and further details will be sent later on.

Prize draw
Everyone who takes part in an online group and adds comments as required will be entered into a prize draw where one participant will win a £100 voucher (for the store of their choice) - you'll have a 1 in 90 chance of being the winner ; )

Technical bit
We will set up 3 private threads on MN - and the same 3 on GN - those selected will be sent the relevant links and given permission to view the threads. We suggest you name change to take part.
