Missing posters

There are of course many reasons why people don't post and I have no wish to 'out' any particular people, but there are some people who used to be regulars and are missing. If you're one of those I'd like to just say that you're missed - well, I miss you anyway. Some of you I've met in 'real life' smile and others I haven't, but your going has left a gap. Whatever your reasons for not posting I'd love to welcome you back. I won't name names, but if you've been on a break from Gransnet and you're thinking about returning please do.

Yes, I agree. It would be good to hear how they are getting on. I can think of a few lovely Gransnetters who I've met or had chats with on here, who haven't been around lately.

I'm with you there, grannyactivist and whenim64. Could it be that some of those regulars ARE still here, but have changed their usernames? I know we've spoken about this before, and it could just be that they've dropped away.

No, I'm sure there are people who are not posting who regularly used to. They are still 'lurking' I hope and maybe just need a bit of encouragement to return after taking a break.

I hope so, ga. The forum has changed a bit since the early days (which is the natural way of things), so perhaps people are 'lurking' more and not feeling as comfortable about posting as they used to do.
