First kiss

Apparently one young woman cannot get over the fact her boyfriend shared his first kiss with another girl. She says it must have been so special for him that any they share now won't compare.

What was your first kiss like?

sunseeker shock and grin

Not giving his name but we 'went out' for months and used to exchange notes via his sister who was 2 years below me at school.

He was gorgeous but when he ditched me for the tart other girl I was very upset. She was older and more obliging and used to smirk at me in school!

I was 12 at a Methodist youth club, he was called Brian Hayter, and it was under the pool table, very chaste, no tongues !

Mine was under his granny's table, we were playing 'rudies under the table' (an invention of ours - we were aged 3 and 3.1/2) We were hidden by his granny's very large table cloth. Can't remember the sensation, there probably wasn't one.

With DH my knees went, my stomach dropped (inside not outside) and I too nearly fainted.

A boy called John when I was about 14 who was in the same year at school but he was so so cool and all the girls had sights on him, dark hair tanned and in every sports team going, the deed was done at a party for one of my friends and we "dated" for about 3 months I was heart broken when he "chucked" me for a new girl who came into our year we then went our separate ways after leaving school.
I meet up with him about 5/6 yrs ago (always knew he lived roundabout) and we said hi and chatted for a few minutes,he is now married to his 4th wife so I guess I had a great escape really he is now rather bald, overweight and quite unattractive really.

he said 'You're supposed to open your mouth when you kiss, stupid!' I was mortified...

I'm not surprised louisamay!

Can't remember - there were so many (kissers that is!) blush

I was 16 and he was called Gary Sunderland, from another school in the Stockport area. I felt this sensation in my stomach as he kissed me which nearly caused me to faint. Hmmmm.

Mine was a boy called Bernard. It was in the Royal Liverpool Children's Hospital around 1974. I was nearly 10 years old. I was in for a heart operation, him the same I think. We used to play on our toy boxes, which had wheels on, around the ward. I had yet to have my operation but for some reason this one particular evening he was wired up to heart monitors. I wanted him to come over to my bed but he said he couldn't because of the wires so I crept over to his, avoiding Sister at her desk. I tiptoed over and at the side of his bed, bent over and kissed him, lips closed, and then scooted back to my bed. It was all quite innocent and lovely. I did, however, see him for years after in the out-patients department at our follow up appointments. blush

It was a sloppy wet kiss and put me off kissing for years!
Still not that keen?
Prefer a cuddle (some chance of either)

Galen Fri 29-Aug-14 23:19:47

I can. I was on a French exchange in Brittany.
It was a Dr's son named Henri Pitois. Known as ToTo.
We were both about 16

Aka Fri 29-Aug-14 23:05:43

Oh dear....I can't remember blush

merlotgran Fri 29-Aug-14 22:18:31

We were both thirteen and it was really nice. So nice in fact I couldn't wait for my fourteenth birthday party so we could play 'Spin The Bottle' with the lights off - and cheat!!

We were both at boarding school, hence the wait. grin

I was 14 and had admired him from afar at the local youth club. My friend had a party, invited him and we played Postmans Knock. By a miracle, when he was Postman, my number came up and he kissed me in the dark dingy hallway. I thought I was in seventh heaven as he was obviously an experienced kisser. However, after The Kiss, he said 'You're supposed to open your mouth when you kiss, stupid!' I was mortified...

His name was Graham , I was 13 and so was he. It was raining and it was wonderful so romantic .....the rain dripping from the umbrella down my neck. I thought he was my Prince Charming. The kiss was very chaste,on the mouth , lips tightly clenched. My great romance lasted until the holiday ended about another week. In the following years I practised a lot more and so hopefully did he , never saw or heard from him again ....just think of what might have been.

On an evening coach trip to Blackpool illuminations with my friend`s youth club in 1960. On the way back, someone had the bright idea of swapping seats so that each girl was sitting with a boy. Mine was called Arnold, rather nice, as was his kissing, but as we made a date for the following Saturday and he never turned up, maybe he wasn`t as nice as I thought!

janerowena Fri 29-Aug-14 12:02:28

Ballroom dancing lessons, his name was Raymond. I was 13, he was 15. It was dreadful, toothy and dribbly. I have never been able to bond with anyone called Raymond ever since!

9 August 1961 in a Paris suburban park with an English girl. Must have been mutually satisfying because the exercise was repeated nightly until she returned to London on 20 August.

After our first date (we'd been to the cinema), my very first boyfriend escorted me to the end of the cul-de-sac where I lived and lunged in for a kiss. It was dark, he misjudged, and it ended up somewhere on my neck and sort of slid down...

Oh, the embarrassment! blush

Agus Fri 29-Aug-14 10:29:54

I was 7, it was at his 8th birthday party. It was utterly revolting, wet, soppy and teeth. I actually left the party I case he came back for seconds grin

Fortunately, it didn't mark me for life wink

rosequartz Fri 29-Aug-14 10:08:36

I was amazed when a couple of friends told me that their DHs were the only boyfriends they had ever had, they started going out age 14 or 15 at school and married in their late teens.

My first kiss was lovely, I was about 15, but he ditched me for someone a year older with more promise, if you know what I mean! wink

ninathenana Fri 29-Aug-14 10:06:10

I was kissed on the cheek a few times by my 'boyfriend' aged 6-7.
My first 'proper' kiss was at 13 it was quiet pleasant but the earth didn't move grin

HollyDaze Fri 29-Aug-14 09:50:21

Meant to add that I can remember the second boy's name and we were both 14/15.

HollyDaze Fri 29-Aug-14 09:49:43

I can't remember how old I was or who the boy was but what I do remember was his tongue going into my mouth which I thought was revolting (and still do) - that put me off him completely! So, not a good experience for a first kiss.

Now the second kiss (different boy), well, that was rather nice grin

Nytsom Fri 29-Aug-14 09:43:50

No Prince Charmings for you ladies then? I remember my first kiss; it was soft and sensual. I was 5, she was 7, Ah I remember it well.

Lona Fri 29-Aug-14 09:29:08

He was 18, I was 13, my mum wasn't happy! hmm
