Does anyone have any advice. My husband was previously in a relationship with a younger woman and they had a daughter. After they split up he wasn't getting proper visitation rights so he went to court but she never turned up. He now has no idea where his daughter is. All he wanted initially was to see her once a week and as she grew up longer and overnight visits.

Do you know anyone who does family history? They seem to have all sorts of information to find people. A friend of mine found my nephew for me. Good luck

I would leave it to the solicitor, family tree services cut off at 100 years ago and the data protection act will not allow government organisations give out info but Im sure the solicitor will be able to sort it.

How old is the daughter now? Any missing service, like Salvation Army- will only pass on detail if the person wants to be found.

Am sure that's right granjura.....I think they give the details of who is looking to the person they are looking for....and its up to them to get in touch....they can't force the issue....just let you know someone is looking.

Thank you for your comments. She is only young so maybe he will have to wait and hope she will find him when she is grown up, unfortunately due to our age it may never happen. We keep trying all sorts and maybe his dream will come true
