Sisters not speaking

My sister can hold a grudge for years and is currently not speaking to me.
She went into my Facebook (where I only ever post to my daughters), found a comment I'd made about her 18 months ago and took offence.
I was staggered that she told me as I think she was being nosey but i said I was sorry if she was offended. She hasn't spoken to me for 3 months since then and, being a bit miffed myself, I haven't contacted her.
I don't fall out with people the way she does and want to be friends again. Should I ring her?

I think the written word says things better than a phone call. I would send her a letter she can read at her leisure. Then the ball's in her court so to speak. You can say so much in a letter. A phone call might get a bit heated and end up with you not resolving anything.
