Daughter in law constantly on mobile

I find it hard to have any meaningful chat with my daughter in law because she is constantly on her mobile. The family come on a Sunday for dinner, and stay for about half an hour afterwards....they have two children. Any tips?

Ignore her and have meaningful conversations with your son and grandchildren instead.

As in, 'praise the good, ignore the bad'.
When she does lift her head, think of a meaningful topic and engage her attention.

Your house, your rules. No mobiles at the table !!
DD is as bad but she does put it away while were eating.

Yes, no mobiles at the table and make dinner last with lots of slow serving chat.
