Happy New Year everyone! Hope we all have good things coming our way in 2016.

Happy New Year, everyone!

Glad DH had a change of heart, Marelli! Enjoy the party - and that new dress!

Sorry about your DGS, NfKDumpling! Hope he will be feeling better enough to sleep over, anyway. But if not, then, hopefully, some time soon.

As for DH and me, we'll have our DGC overnight. Looking forward to it!

DH has trudged into the living room, sniffing wetly.....and said, "We'll just go to the party....?" I agreed straight away (obviously much to his dismay) SO we're GOING!! tchgrin

Happy New Year everyone.
We will watch Jools Holland and raise a glass at midnight then be in bed by 12.30am smile
New Years day I always have cook a roast dinner and we use up the crackers.

We don't usually make it to midnight! Especially this year as we should be having DGS for his first sleep over for a couple of nights. But he developed a rash in a nasty place last evening so has a doctor's appointment this morning. Hopefully(?) he'll still be able to come. And hopefully we'll survive! He's two and very stubborn!

tchgrin

WilmaKnickersfit Thu 31-Dec-15 07:22:32

Especially if you bought a new dress! tchgrin

grin Men Marelli!
Mine hates social gatherings and it's really odd how often the mention of such triggers an illness confused
I just smile sweetly and say that I'm going anyway, which frequently leads to a rapid recovery on his part!

Happy New Year!

Marelli Thu 31-Dec-15 07:05:32

We had planned to go to New Year party in village hall. However, DH has had a stinker of a cold for nearly a fortnight and so not a good idea to spread it around amongst so many people tonight. I don't think he really wanted to go, though, and when I suggested last night that we just stayed at home, he brightened considerably and his breathing became much less 'laboured'. This morning he said, "You were looking forward to the party, though, and you bought a new dress...." I replied, "How are you feeling this morning?". His answer was a cough and a bit more 'laboured' breathing.....hmm
I don't think he wants to go.
