Finding and appreciating things

I find different qualities in people impress me endlessly as the years go by. I have discovered that I couldn't be more impressed with my husband than when he hears me say I can't find my glasses, purse, gloves etc and he appears with them immediately. I also find that I get very fond of articles of clothing and find it difficult to part with them if they have served me well, ie worn out slippers or clothes.

I really appreciate my husband finding “lost” items for me too, Souperkiki and I don’t know how I would manage without him. I have a habit of putting keys, specs, etc down on any convenient surface without registering what I am doing, but DH seems to know where EVERYTHING is and can always tell me instantly where I have left them. If he is out of the house I waste my time running around trying to remember what I have done with these small but essential items – in fact I have probably frittered away several weeks of my life in these frustrating searches!

On the other hand, I can’t say I have any attachment to articles of clothing and have no problem throwing old ones out and enjoy seeing clear space in my cupboards. Having less clutter around also makes it easier to find my purse, keys, specs, etc. when I have forgotten where I have left them!grin

I appreciate everything in the house, and look at books /objects/ phots/plants a great deal.I also appreciate qualities in people, but not my DH's ability to find lost things( although he has other sterling qualities of course.)He constantly loses his own things and it's me who finds them for him.
