Sorry to hear of your loss, your youngest daughter is right to ignore it all, upsetting though it is its not worth dragging it all out into the open and cause more heart ache. Whats done is done it cant be changed,the anger will just eat at you if you dont let it go.

Just a thought as the family wont go to the grave, perhaps a garden tree or bush could be planted in your grandsons memory.

A terrible loss for you all, I'm so very sorry. I can't understand why your brother and his family should be so angry at what appears to be a wonderful gesture; your father now with the grandson he never knew about.

I agree with Mumsy Gravy, there's no sense in adding to the pain you must be going through. If your brother and his family have taken the decision to no longer visit your father's grave than so be it.

You and your daughter will be able to and grieve for the grandson/son you've lost knowing that you will be left in peace to do so.

After a tragedy like this many people feel angry and helpless. And maybe act irrationally.
They could come round in time.
