Showed this to my three and they all agreed they had a "mean mum". They all have children of their own now and are all definitely being "mean mums". Eldest says they need a few more of them around.

No, looking back I was a lazy bugger at home and never required to do anything at all. I’m appalled now though and wish I’d helped out a lot more.
Mum also let me sleep with my boyfriend at home at 18 which was quite unusual back then.
My mum was bloody brilliant and I still miss her daily!
Still, I’ve never smoked, never done drugs, rarely drink (drank blackcurrent and water in the nightclubs as preferred to dance sober), so don’t see how a stricter upbringing would make any difference?
With my own, I try to keep a balance.

Did you have, or were you a "Mean Mum" as per the photo?
I did and I was, though not the boyfriends. My mother never knew who my boyfriends were.
I knew and met all my daughters. smile
