How would you take it if a man you were with gently caressed your face?

starbird Sat 28-Jul-18 01:59:53

It could mean, “if only we were both free and you felt as I do” or “sorry we won’t meet again “., or “you remind me of my dear mother”. who knows?

Let's give her a chance. My first post wasn't well received but had about 150 replied when people realised I wasn't messing about.

Chewbacca Sat 28-Jul-18 00:28:52

grin brilliantly put phoenix!

Jette are you a new member? Is this your first post? Are you about to tell us what you use to make your skin so soft that "professional"men feel an irresistible urge to stroke it?

crazyH Sat 28-Jul-18 00:12:12

To quote Lewis Carroll, this gets "curiouser and curiouser"

Squiffy Fri 27-Jul-18 23:01:52

professional man ? Not sure what difference that makes.

Scribbles Fri 27-Jul-18 23:00:23

In the circumstances Jette describes, I would probably protest vocally and certainly swat his hand away.

MissAdventure Fri 27-Jul-18 22:59:16

I'm a bit of a face stroking type. blush
Obviously only people I love or like very much, which isn't many people.

Chewbacca Fri 27-Jul-18 22:55:28

I've just choked on my biscuits Annie! grin

Anniebach Fri 27-Jul-18 22:50:08

Why would anyone wonder if someone’s skin was real

MawBroon Fri 27-Jul-18 22:34:16

confusedconfused

“Soft skin”?..
Weird!

Jette Fri 27-Jul-18 22:02:35

Near me physically

Jette Fri 27-Jul-18 22:02:00

I am a woman. This was a professional man.It felt very nice and gentle but I don't have a personal relationship with the man.Maybe he was overwhelmed by my soft skin and wondered if it was real.He is from a different culture.I have not seen him again

More information needed please.
Love it cherrytree although a bit close to home smile

starbird Fri 27-Jul-18 19:33:12

It is not unusual to stroke a young child’s face, I once stroked a very dear friend’s face on impulse ( the height difference made hugging awkward) it was totally non sexual, just an expression of warmth and affection. In many cultures it is probably more common than amongst the British.
I would interpret it as saying “ you are very dear to me” - whether as a friend, lover, parent or child. I hope it does not spoil a good relationship.

Chewbacca Fri 27-Jul-18 19:16:48

I'd shudder.

wot Fri 27-Jul-18 19:14:26

Cherrytree, that's what I'd worry about!

Anniebach Fri 27-Jul-18 19:10:54

BlueBelle Fri 27-Jul-18 19:05:52

MiniMoon Fri 27-Jul-18 18:52:01

Is this some random man you happen to be standing/sitting beside, or a husband, love interest etc?

Anniebach Fri 27-Jul-18 18:46:46

No husband no boyfriend, leaves the grocery delivery man, gardener , postman or milkman ,nah, can’t help sorry.

crazyH Fri 27-Jul-18 18:07:15

Love it Cherrytree?

Elegran Fri 27-Jul-18 16:57:40

Why are you asking what "we" think? Do you have any opinions yourself? You are the one who knows just how familiar you want this man to be. We don't.

Cherrytree59 Fri 27-Jul-18 16:53:37

Or is he just wiping the dribbles away?shock

pollyperkins Fri 27-Jul-18 16:48:27
