Hello, I mentioned on here last year of contacting my daughter to arrange meet up with DGDS,it was met with a lot of negativity and broken promises on daughter s part.
We have now met up with daughter an d it seems as though we are going forward she has agreed that we can take them out for an afternoon at half term, also asked if we would like to meet them from school next week.
At the meeting she was warm brought gifts and generally our old daughter back.
I felt I needed to write this as I know there are many nans and grandad out there going through the same problem.
Wish me luck and it stays that way

I wish you all the luck in the world Lindylou; lets all keep our fingers crossed that this is just the start of a whole new era of enjoying your grandchild and your daughter.
