I just love stories on this

So I would have been about 10 and at a school disco and a girl just walked up to me and kissed me.

Erm... an extremely good looking older boy at school who grabbed and thoroughly kissed me. I felt like the luckiest girl in the world.

I later found out he was just spreading his coldsore around for fun.

Not first kiss, but first love and holding hands.?
6 yr olds,
I cant remember how, as boys and girls had separate school playgrounds.

First kiss yuck! Early Teens
All I can remember is the taste of Irn bru.?

I really cannot remember. I do remember at the age of 14, being asked by a boy in my class if I was going to a party a girl was throwing on Boxing Day as her parents would be out.

I said I was going. He then said, 'will you be my snogging partner?' I didn't go the party, that scared me to death smile I was a very shy teenager.

Ooopsminty … forgive me I must be in a funny mood, but

Then he asked me to gaze at the hamster he had on his lap

shock spat my tea out and wet myself!!!
Still spluttering now grin

Sorry everyone for lowering the tone. blush

Namsnanny Sun 24-Nov-19 17:43:28

glammanana … 4 times!! what's he hiding beneath that unprepossessing exterior then wink!

and TBH he probably looks a lot healthier than JL would look now! (sorry bad taste?)

Well I have had to dig deep to remember but I would have been 13 and on a skiing trip to Switzerland with the school. Somehow I ended up on a date with a boy from another school who haled from Devon. The kiss wasn't memorable, but slipping and sliding on the icy payment in slingbacks was.

If I don't count a peck on the cheek aged six from the boy from school I used to go to have tea with....
I was 12/13 he was 15/16 and it was with a boy from the school adjacent (boys at one girls the other) we were down the back alley where we used to meet after school.

I was 15(went to an all girls grammar school so no school encounters)I had gone to a club that played Tamla Motown music so we danced all in a group.A nice looking lad called John asked me to dance he was lovely but had had steak and onions for his tea and the smell of onions still lingered but it was wonderful. He asked me to meet him again but I stood him up because I was too shy to tell my parents I had a date.!

I have absolutely no recollection! There were numerous boys on the scene when I was about 14 ( a few kisses and hand holding only) ?

BlueBelle Sun 24-Nov-19 13:22:27

He spoke to me on the seafront we started ‘going out’ I was 13/14 his name was John and he was older, and at work, so maybe 16 he was on holiday from Norfolk we met most evenings and shared kisses in beach shelters and Prom walks I remember feeling very adult he went home after a week and never heard or seen him since ?

So unromantic it was untrue.

I was 13, it took place in the entrance to the boys' outside toilets at school, and the boy in question had just finished a packet of cheese and onion crisps. However, I was so pleased at my first proper kiss, I flew home on unicorn wings.

I wouldn't be so easily pleased today!

jura2 Sun 24-Nov-19 12:40:24

oh no, would never kiss and tell.

But he was gorgeous and had long hair, and British of course - I was 14 and he 16. Still a good friend.

I was 7 and a classmate dared me to kiss Paddy McGrath who was standing in the corner for some misdemeanor.
The class as a whole was playing up due to the fact that we had a student teacher in charge. She seemed to spend the session whacking children with a ruler as I recall.
Unfortunately, Miss Devlin caught me and I was whacked too ?!
Not only that, she quoted from the Bible and told me that....
"Our Blessed Lord said that girls like you should have a millstone tied around your neck and be cast into the sea."
(As you might guess, I was at a Catholic school.)

I was totally bewildered by this as I was only trying to cheer poor Paddy up. ?

Friend and self both thirteen year olds had gone to the local Lido .There we met a couple of my school mates, friend went to a different school so I was the one doing the introductions .Friend being very chatty then paired herself with one of my school mates leaving myself with the other Say no more grin.Got a right telling off by father for being late, 7pm ??getting home.

Calendargirl Sun 24-Nov-19 11:18:20

At a friend’s birthday party, 13 years old I think, we played Postman’s Knock, and had to keep going into another room and kissing different boys. One in particular, Brian, was a nice kisser to my inexperienced self. I kissed a few boys that night, I would be embarrassed now and wonder if they hadn’t wanted to!

shysal Sun 24-Nov-19 11:12:58

At the end of my first ever date, to the cinema, the lad having borrowed his father's car, the first kiss came as we were saying goodbye when parked outside my house. There was a clashing of teeth and his glasses making it all very awkward. We pulled apart only to see my father standing in the gateway in his pyjamas! It was only 10pm, but may Dad was a worrier!

Gonegirl Sun 24-Nov-19 11:05:20

Its was with a girl. We were 10.

tiredoldwoman Sun 24-Nov-19 10:57:36

Terribull , I think I might have met your Plunger man a few months ago . My first date in years and it was horrible !

tiredoldwoman Sun 24-Nov-19 10:55:41

A follow on thread " Ive just seen the person I kissed ! " would be fun ?
Sometimes I think " that old man looks familiar ? " then realise that he was in my class at school !

TerriBull Sun 24-Nov-19 09:00:46

Oh God it was horrible, I was about 13 or 14, not terribly interested in boys at that age. At a party and all of a sudden the boy I was talking to lunged at me, I felt I'd been attacked by "a plunger", the sort plumbers use to unblock drains sad

kircubbin2000 Sun 24-Nov-19 08:45:38

It was quite romantic. We had moved house and I knew no one so my mother sent me to the Sunday school picnic coach trip.I say by myself and soon the bus stopped to let on a boy about 16 who I dont think was connected at all to the church. He sat beside me and when we got to the seaside suggested that instead of going into the church hall we could walk on the beach. He took me up into the dunes where we lay and kissed and cuddled for ages.
At school everyone was talking about it and wanted to know who he was but I never saw him again.

Oopsminty Sun 24-Nov-19 05:01:16

I was about 14. Boy that everyone fancied. We were in a coach and he shocked me with his slobbery tongue.

I had no idea.

Then he asked me to gaze at the hamster he had on his lap

I leapt up and didn't kiss anyone for a couple of years

Grandma2213 Sun 24-Nov-19 03:05:56

I was a late developer and was physically like a little girl until I was 18. I went to stay with a cousin when I was about 16 and went to the fair where I met a boy she knew. We went home together on the bus and he kissed me at the end of her road. We met again the next day and went for a walk along the canal where we sat on a bench and 'snogged'. (Do they use that word now?) I went home the next day and never saw him again. Looking back my only feeling was relief that I had got it over with and was like all my other friends.
